Suggestion: make the main lightning layers have strike- type lightning. This will help it look real if using i in other programs like adobe premiere

Also, increase the decay in the main lightning instead of decaying the core. This will make it have a more realistic effect.

@noamsha8 drag the entire composition (on the left) that you made your chidori in ontop of your video and animate, I think I show you how to do that in part 2 ;)

@UmeshBx once you have that, pre-compose everything, add a circle mask around it and feather the edges ;)

@PDownloader90 select all the layours, click layer, then precompose. once the layers are precomposed, select the ellipse tool and double click on it with the precomp layer selected. Select the precomp layer again and press "m" once or twice (as long as you get all the mask settings up) 4 options should come up. Using the feather option, feather the edges and bring the mask in, by dragging the "mask expansion" in. FEW, there we have it, worth a Subscription 4 all that? ;)

Omfg Im trying to minimize the mask but I can't figure out how to!! I try to double click on the mask in the timeline but whenever I double click on it, it opens a new window that says "Layer: Medium Royal Blue Solid 1" and anyway I try it won't let me click on the corners and it won't scale the mask down!

it's because your only feathering one way where as I was feathering both ways. you must of accidentally unclicked the chain option next to feather which makes the two angles do it separately.

When at the stage of feathering, i did eveything the same you did but when i feather the white one to 133, and i feather the blue one to 45 and i feather the clone blue one to 45 also it looks different from yours much more sharper and stuff
