From what I understand, because ELENIN is a "dwarf star" and for lack of better words... it never ignited like our Sun. Therefor we cannot see it like our Sun. It is somewhat "cloaked". The problem is this, when it comes to ANYTHING being VIEWED further out than what the naked eye can see it is questionable. Unless you own one of those multi-million dollar telescopes of course. I do not own one. ;)

Sorry but Elenin will only reach the distance of .24 AU. One AU is the calulated distance from the Earth to the Sun which is better than 92 million miles, regardless however is the fact that the distance of this dwarf star will yet be too far from the Earth to be of any effect.
