@snakefood2k1 They do eat quite a few carbs, but it's no where near the amount that Americans consume. Also, they don't consume nearly as many calories as Americans.
Interesting video! btw my sister found this hot weight loss diet known as: Impact 790 Diet and reduced 6 kgs within a month. I can not remember the actual site just Google it.
@ImaRiseToThaTop The only fats that are actually bad for you are the so-called "refined" fats... and, in excess, the polyunsaturated fats. But butter, coconut and olive are among the best. & we started eating meat long before we knew how to cook it. Raw meat is actually easier to digest, you're probably thinking of cooked meat being easier to eat. & about the diabetes/fat studies, check what kind of fat was actually involved. It makes a huge difference.
@Jordonified your insulin spikes when you have sugar entering your blood. Doesn't matter whether there's also fat. Do YOUR research. And Mark's advice can easily be followed without buying any of his supplements - same goes with most all of the Paleo/Primal "salesmen".
@RealRawResults a high carb low fat vegan diet is obviously better than the SAD (a common cause of heart disease and type 2 diabetes), but it won't work so well after a decade or two.
Here's the problem with Sisson's viewpoint. Not everyone wants to be healthy, strong and fit. This diet only works if your goals fall into that category.
You're all morons. Insulin causes problems when you mix carbs with high protein/fat foods(meat/dairy/oils). You can eat grains by themselves and it wont do nothing! Like you can eat meat with vegetables(zero carbs) and it wont do nothing! - No other mammal on this planet mixes meat(survival food) with carbs(fruit). Idiots.
Ive tried alot of "diets" in order to get as healthy as possible. Sisson is right about some things, but wrong on some others aswell. Fat from meat is essential, but all the other fats are bad for you, this includes butter, olive oil and coconut oil aswell. In order to clean your body bananas are perfect. A combination of meat and bananas is perfect. Train your muscles and youll be fit in no time.
@ImaRiseToThaTop Quite the opposite actually. Animal fats, with the exception of fish, are quite low in essential fatty acids. Saturated fats serve as a building block for hormones and cell walls. But there are several plant, seed, and nut sources of essential fatty acids which improve the lipid profile, reduce inflammation, and help your body burn fat.
Everybody needs to think for a second here: why do 30 years ago, the food industry came up with the notion that butter (which is a natural product) was bad for you and that they had to come up with a chemical concoction of oils which do not exist in their natural form. Canola isn't an oil. Corn isn't a fat.Never made sense in my mind. And the best part is that heart decease has risen to unprecedented heights after the introduction of massive amount of refined carbs and fake oil!
@jj75 - You are a history revisionist. Animal food consumption didn't increase, it decreased, substantially in the western diet over the last 100 years. Your grandmother or great-grandmother knew better and would have told you to lay off the starches and grains and stick with vegetables and animal protein or you'll get fat. There are no (read ZERO) peer reviewed studies that correlate fat intake to causing heart disease. The CDC searched for them for years and eventually gave up .
paleo diet worked for mankind for millions of years but vegitarians say it wont work now because they like animals and they like wheat and corn to replace the animals. they are so smart, they must be right.
The Inuit people lived on a no carb diet. it worked for them. Fat was the main source for energy and protein for bodybuilding. Go read Weston A Price's Book who travelled the world and found people with perfect bodies and super healthy. today industrial controlled diet is killing people. shame they are blind to see. Good Luck God Bless
@brianv00 unrefined grains are not edible to any human. all grains are refined befor eating. meaning they are ground up. if you dont grind them to powder they come out your ass.
@brianv00 yea i read that in the book. The Swiss ate Rye Sourbread, think its a fermentation process. i am put of grains due to ill health. I am eating animals fats and animal protiens. carbs very low!!
@HappierHealthierYou "childish and naive to go back when millions and millions of animals were alive" No, childish to advocate for us all to live like plains indians, idiot. ROFL.
@HappierHealthierYou "You did make that claim! lol your delusional" And you you cannot produce a quote :(
Yet, again, if I made any such statement, I was mistaken. Obviously animals die when we work the fields. Is it possible to stop this? Perhaps. But more of them die today to feed the billions of livestock, so there is a start.
I gather fundamental dishonesty OR severe lack of reading comprehension is part of your macro approach, huh?
100% agree with eliminating white bread, doughnuts, twinkies and pizza but I disagree that he lops those "bad" carbs with others such as whole grains like brown rice, quinoa, amaranth, and starchy vegetables like potatoes, sweet potatoes, squash, and also beans. Your insulin spikes when you have fat blocking the sugar in your blood. Don't blame the sugar, blame the fat guys. Do your research. Sisson just wants to sell his supplements.
@ImaRiseToThaTop If you red RealRawResults and a couple of others posting here with their links, you can tell they are funneling people to their own web sites where they can promote their single-focus marketing agendas where only they have some magic hitherto unknown and conspiracy suppressed cure and then take all their money selling them their single-focus fad diet resources, sole-source diet food and other material.
ALmost all vitamins are fat soluble: A, B, D, E, K and can only be derived from animal products. Vegans all need to supplement or get B12 shots. The reason I felt better at first on a vegan diet is because I was off the gluten and lactose. Just look at ex vegans like Raw Brahs or the girl from RawRadiantHealth, they all turn back to animal products, because their body told them they HAD to. These are not failures, because the perfect diet should be easy and not impossible.
@ImaRiseToThaTop I haven't tried the paleo diet long term because well, I decided long ago that I loved myself enough not to intentionally harm myself with food or lifestyle choices. :)
The B vitamins are not fat soluble, FYI. ADE and K however are and plant foods supply them and essential fatty acids in perfect amounts.
How many calories were you eating, total percent of calories from fat, and how much sleep were you getting?
Don't get me started on the RB's and Natasha's anorexia! ;)
@ImaRiseToThaTop Thank you. A good diet does not require exotic, expensive, short supply foods using arkane knowledge from some sole-source that is going to make millions selling it all to you. You can buy it all at the grocery store. Just get most of it at the store rim where fruit, vegetables, dairy, fish, poultry and meat are and stay away from the processed junk in the middle of the store. Shop the rim.
@ImaRiseToThaTop Yah if you do the diet wrong it's not gonna work. Raw brahs weren't eating enough and Natasha has a B12 absorbtion issue. It's like me driving my car down the highway while i'm watching a movie and I get in an accident and say that cars are dangerous. Paying attention isn't dangerous. Having an eat less mindset and not knowing your body is dangerous.
@Jordonified Im glad it is working for you. But I think it takes alot of effort to do it right because I know alot of vegans who are "not doing it right". Good luck with your diet, best wishes.
@ImaRiseToThaTop It takes effort to do anything. Diet is so important. Your health is so important. It will take effort to feed starving children in Africa, does that mean we shouldn't do it?
@Jordonified Your no authority on what is healthy bro. I think veganism is very unhealthy, but u can eat whatever u want. Ive tried alot of things and did enough research to the extend where I am now feeling healthy and happy. I just think diet shouldnt be such a science, it doesnt make sense to make it so complicated. Alot of meat and some vegetables are ok for me thank you.
@Jordonified Didnt know I was talkin to a retard. But hey, its not weird u are losing it on a low fat diet. But to clarify, I do not take advice from people, I try stuff out and through experience I learn. This is my last response to you, good luck getting more emotional/depressed/aggressive on ur diet bro.
I don't think Mark understands basic human physiology. Carbohydrate is not the issue in elevated insulin levels, it's excess fat in the bloodstream (caused by excess in the diet) that coats the cells of the body and prevents the sugars (the cell's sole fuel) from entering the cell, thus causing more insulin to be released. Consume normal, healthy amounts of fat (below 10-15% of total calories), replace them with carbs, and issues cease.
@RealRawResults I've never heard of fat coating the cells to prevent sugars uptake...I would love to see a source and/or image for that. I find it hard to believe without a source because our cell walls...the lipid bilayer...are already double layer of amphipathic molecules that have hydrophillic heads that face externally and internally to the cell plus fatty acid tails. Amongst the fatty bilayer is imbedded cholesterol. Cells selectively uptake what they need, including sugar.
@Oecologeae Hey definitely. As far back as 1927 Dr. E.P. Joslin of the Joslin Diabetic Center related the high fat, high cholesterol diet to diabetes. In 1959 the Journal of the American Medical Association also documented this casual relationship between fat consumption and diabetes. A 1979 article in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition also documented that type 2 diabetes could be reversed in a matter of weeks by adopting a low fat, high carb plant exclusive diet. Among other studies.
@RealRawResults You quote old debunked studies. Even the ADA, which, at the end, clung to the high carbohydrate diet only for managing heart disease risks, had to abandon it when it was shown that a high carbohydrate diet exacerbated metabolic syndrome. Current methods are to manage "glycemic load" which means severly restricting amount and type of carbohydrates to avoid overloading the body's ability to process carbohydrates in a healthy way.
@Oecologeae So essentially candida, type 2 diabetes, chronic fatigue, and all these "sugar metabolic disorders" are really just stemming from one thing -- too much fat in the blood and too much fat in the bloodstream. You won't hear this as often though because it makes a lot of sense but not a lot of dollars. You sell less Primal Blueprint Primal Fuel when people hear the truth. ;)
@RealRawResults I hear a Doug Graham fan :P. Bro, have u tried both diets for a longer time? Because I have.. and in the diet u describe my candida was growing and my libido decreased and I got fatter (tried it 8 months). Now I eat alot of meat and raw butter and I am shitting all this candida out very fast with the result of: better sleep, skin, eyes, hair and also low body fat and an enormous libido. This in a matter of 2 weeks. I rest my case.
@RealRawResults There are no single-focus causes to the conditions you named. Mostly they are inherited susceptibilites triggered by environment. Otherwise every obese person would be diabetic, but they're not. Only a small percentage of obese, even morbidly obese, persons are diabetic. For people with genetic propensity, the most exacerbating cause is high glycemic load. Severly restrict the type and amount of carbohydrate and the condition can be managed.
@jalind1 Hah mind explaining why doctors like Dr. Neil Barnard and Dr. John McDougall are literally clinically reversing type 2 diabetes and heart disease in patients who follow a high carb, low fat vegan diet? Hmmm that's a head scratcher. ;)
People can blame their diabetes and high blood pressure on ChemTrails and EMFs all they want, it's not going to change anything. Time to step up and accept that you can change your condition or go out in pieces like everyone else. Your choice. :)
@RealRawResults Are you a SHAC/PETA/PCRM sock puppet or schill? You don't like the remark so you ridicule it with stupid and rude ChemTrails and EMF remarks? Genetic versus environment is another way of saying nature versus nurture when examining causes. High glycemic load is an ENVIRONMENT verus family history which is GENETIC. Large quantities of high-fructose corn syrup in one's diet is one example of a long suspected environment trigger that has yet to be proven or disproven.
@RealRawResults I see also that you are promoting Dr. Neil Barnard, known associate (having co-signed Kjonaas' SHAC letter) of convicted SHAC terrorist, Kevin Kjonaas. Dr. Neil Barnard is one of those "you need my expensive silver-bullet, buy all my books, you can't eat anything having to do with an animal, vegan agenda" types I've posted about before here. Even the CDC concluded Barnard had a private hidden agenda. Barnard's PCRM is a known PETA front.
@RealRawResults In addition I see you are promoting Dr. John McDougall as well. McDougall will sell you an expensive trip to Costa Rica to hear all about his grain/starch based diet and the evils of any form of animal protein. The Press Democrat describe McDougall as "a small industry, with several cookbooks, a newsletter, a Web site, vegetarian meal cups sold across the country and a nationally syndicated TV show", another self-absorbed spend lots of money on me self-promoter.
@jalind1 When people don't like what they hear, they typically take it personally. Sounds to me like I gotcha squirming in your seat a bit! ;)
Notice how you blatantly ignore all the clinical proof that these doctors have shown that fly in the face of what you are saying. I understand, it's hard for our ego to take a blow and admit we're wrong. I really understand. Glad I quit lying to myself, accepted I used to be wrong, and found what made sense though. ;)
@RealRawResults Your comment and this latest one are written like they are from a troll. Your comment was personal, demeaning and designed denigrate the other person, and, when I call you out on it you laugh it off like you didn't mean it. Your two doctors have records from "their" clinics. Not once have you referenced peer-reviewed studies from someone other than them or their minions, preferably several, that conclusively show what you promote.
@jalind1 Cool dude. I've never met a high carb vegan with diabetes and know many who have reversed the condition in a few days. But I know many people, mostly overweight, eating large amounts of animal foods who have it. Lol, you know how few people used to have diabetes before animal product consumption increased?
@RealRawResults If people follow this diet, you sell less consultations, t-shirts, and your pay-pal runs dry. I dont have a financial agenda and I agree with his philosophy. He said you can eat all the fruits and veggies you want, just also get yor healthy fat and protein. No primal fuel needed, it makes you look dumb beucase his diet includes everything yours does, but adds more types of healthy foods. So his diet would need less supplementation than yours :/
@HappierHealthierYou " just also get yor healthy fat and protein" How are the fats in plants and proteins inadequate to cause you to have to torture animals for their fat and protein? After all, per calorie, spinach has more protein than chicken, as do beans, kale, broccoli, etc, and it is a non-toxic protein. Additionally, all plants have a complete amino acid profile. It seems like such a no brainer to me.
@HappierHealthierYou "well science tells me they are more adequate" It does? You sure? Perhaps "selective science" tells you that, but there is lots of science on all sides. I can throw out a bunch of studies, and you can throw out a bunch of studies, but at the end of the day tons of peeps live very healthy without cruelty to animals. How does your science address that fact?
@HappierHealthierYou "For that protein and fat being toxic" Animal protein and fat, sure. Very unhealthy. You have never heard of LDL cholesterol and saturated fat?
As for the protein, check it out: watch?v=yfsT-qYeqGM
@HappierHealthierYou "Were they born vegan" Yep. Here is just a taste from a small part of this century, although you can do your own macro research (or is research against you dogma?), when you are ready to learn something: veganhealth*org/articles/realveganchildren
Vegan cultures have lived for centuries, and have been shown throughout the history of man, unless that is too micro for you.
@HappierHealthierYou "So please do not tell me you knwo the outcoem of a long term vegan civilizations." Are you honestly attempting to deny that there is strong evidence of ages of early man living as an herbivore?
And yet here were are, instead of measuring our scientific studies against each other we are speculating about distant anscestors in the hopes that it may somehow prove that putting that rot and death in your body, blood and brain is somehow decent and healthy.
@HappierHealthierYou "Well i dont know how i feel about flyong in bananas daily for my source of calories." Love me some bananas!
So far as deforestation and pollution, again your macro approach seems consistent with igorance, if not self deception and thoughtlessness. How do you suppose, bright one, 30 billion livestock animals per year are fed? Most of the world's food is fed to livestock so that you can fly that in.
Also, calling a banana fake in the face of eating livestock is laughable!
@HappierHealthierYou "well it is, it is a sterile hybrid" But they are yummy, healthy, cruelty free! But lets look at some of the frankenfood that comes off your grass fed, grass finished blah blah bullshit feed lots, shall we? You think any of that is God's handy work?
Additonally, man has learned he has to cook rotting flesh or else it kills him quickly. But the cooking process creates powerful carcinogens that alter the very DNA of his body. Is that part of God's macro plan?
@HappierHealthierYou Actually most of the world's food is fed to livestock, while mutating them from grass to grain diets, thus most of agriculture's harm is caused by the livestock industry. This is a simple fact. Again, we are talking about tens of billions of animals that eat much more than 7 billon humans, and do so very inefficiently.
@HappierHealthierYou "GOOD YOUR RIGHT BOTH FARMING AND AGRICULTURE KILL A TON OF ANIMALS" Now first, child, you can yell all you want, but you lied about me claiming that animals were not harmed by crop farming, and I would either like a citation or an apology forthwith.
Now, if you calm down perhaps this can get through your ketosis fog: most agriculture food is fed to livestock. So most of that incidental death, what little or lot it may be, is cause by livestock farming. Fact.
@HappierHealthierYou "You are not doing any of those things, so thats shirking it." You have no proof of this statement whatsoever. But even if it were true, it is still not a justification for your to rape and torture innocent beings for your ignorance and pleasure, is it?
@HappierHealthierYou "Look at your on a computer, the factory that made these dumped its waste into a lake big guy, fish died. Your a hyopcrite." It seems your argument boils down to, "There are tons of ways that we pollute, so we should not eliminate the largest single way." Is that right?
@HappierHealthierYou What I would like to share is the truth about how your food is made, which is not my childish hate-filled rantings and speculations, but easily observed: watch?v=FHA4HNbmDLg
Also, I would like to share that you do not have to participate in this, and to do so damages your personal health. For instance, there is overwelming evidence that the rotting flesh of animals that you torture is very unhealthy for your body: watch?v=yfsT-qYeqGM
@FathomlessJoy why am i going to watch a video from a man thats in the 1% of the worlds most destructive population of animals and enviornment, medicore animals murders that does not make sense, if im going to take adivce from some one on how to be low impact... lol ill take adivce from someone thats low impact! lol you torture animals
@HappierHealthierYou "why am i going to watch a video from a man thats " Because you do not want to see the truth! You show me a vid of ANY animal that is harmed by harvesting plants and I will watch it. Why? Because even if I can not do anything about it, I want to see the truth. You will not watch Earthlings because you want to live in the lie, it is easier for you. You seem far too young to be this resigned to what is typical.
@HappierHealthierYou "lol ill take adivce from someone thats low impact" I am not saying take my advice. Why would you take anyone's advice about anything? That is the way of a child who wants a mommy, right? Learn for yourself!
@HappierHealthierYou "quick i heard a bobcat is on your street, go round up the neighbors and beat it with as a shovel" Would it make you feell better if we gave it to you to eat?
@HappierHealthierYou "You pay taxes to a country that carpet bombed 5 coutnries in the last year lol" Well I personally haven't paid taxes in 2 years technically. But I have paid my share. So, lets look at what can be done, shall we? We have to be able to take action somehow, right? If I by a postage I support war, if I don't pay taxes I am put in a cage myself, just like the animals right? So, what can I do? I can refuse to participate by not eating it anymore, and discarding the lies about it.
@HappierHealthierYou Moving from the US will not fix this, so long as I live off the death and rot of animals, right? Americans all leave and just set up franchises in other countries, which is actually what we see happening. You are recommending superficial, outward, realtively petty demonstrations, which is quite typical, like I said "mediocre."
@HappierHealthierYou "rest. Even though you arent eaitng meat, living your life you are FUNDING federal meat slaughter houses with your money." Sure. But at least I do not personally profit off of it, right?
"And you are eating a commerical diet ran by non vegans that do not give a damn about animals. " True, but only an idiot would use this as justification to continue to ingest death and rot, right?
@HappierHealthierYou "so when they shoot a monkey with a ak for eating a banana thats blood is on your hands" Sure, and this somehow means that I should pay men to hunt monkeys for me? ROFL
@HappierHealthierYou "If you want to help animals get off the computer" My laptop battery is charged by my own powerful sense of self-righteousness ;)
But really, in a year's time a vegan will reduce their negative impact on the plant more than more folks will in a lifetime. The pollution from livestock farming is 20% of the world's greenhouse emissions, which is more than all the world's passenger vehicles, combined. Or is that too "micro?"
@HappierHealthierYou "build your shelter, dont pay taxes, use nautral sources of heat/lighting. " And all those efforts are futile, so long as I participate in the rape, torture, ill health and destruction of livestock consumption :(
@HappierHealthierYou Hey, macro man, those times are over. We have eletricity, we have laptops, and your childish hateful rantings simply do not justify your ingesting of that disease and rot and lying about it to others. Do they?
@HappierHealthierYou You have no proof of that. But why not just be a grown up, Huck Finn. Why not just admit that you do not want to know how that burger gets made, so long as those rich American corps keep em coming. Isn't that right?
@HappierHealthierYou But you certainly will not see me defending the US much in any of this. I totally agree that the US, although with many of the muslims counties and israel are doing most of the harm in the world.
@HappierHealthierYou "Thats why there are predators virtually everywhere else. you funded that! " Have you ever been to the US? Not the little town outside the city where you flew into, but really out in the country? There are bears, and bobcats, sharks, and snakes, eagles, hawks, etc, etc, etc, loads of predators that can be very harmful to humans if not respected.
@HappierHealthierYou "well keep up your lifestyle and they kill be dead soon also" Perhaps I should create an industry around eating them? That is what you want, right? All men to eat animals like you, right?
@HappierHealthierYou "quick i heard a bobcat is on your street, go round up the neighbors and beat it with as a shovel" Sorry bud, more ignorance, Wizard of Oz. I don't live on a street at all.
@HappierHealthierYou Would it make you feel better if I raped and tortured animals, ate their rotting diseased bodies and then lied about it? Would that make you feel better about the situation...not so alone?
@FathomlessJoy Then why did you send me a video saying that making money off of the vegan lifetslye is unethical, and you dotn consider durianrider a vegan for exploiting people for money. Im not making this up, you said he takes b-12 shots and no real vegan would. Dont lie about the video YOU sent ME. I did not ask you to send it!
@HappierHealthierYou I wouldn't eat an egg if you paid me, a lot! LOL How sick. But it is strange how you have to use such insidiously evil deceptions, lying here that I send any of those emails. Is that how confident you are that your path of rape torture and rot are decent living?
Look, wonderful wizard, all you have to do is wait a decade of so for my slow, nutrient deprived brain to deduce finally that vegan is not working, then I will hit you up. Be patient, dog breath ;)
@HappierHealthierYou You must be mistaken. I do not eat any of those rot and death, that filth and disease. Check out the facts on the disease with dairy: watch?v=yfsT-qYeqGM
Then check out the truth about the disease and death in fish: watch?v=zkoUw9gkZfE
Sorry, but you are going to need a much better net, Maybelle, to land this vegan!
@FathomlessJoy Bottom line you emailed me telling how you eat animal products! then you get ashamed and defend yourself saying your vegan. Then you also slander harley, frutarian, and doug saying their dogmatic and unhealthy. Thsoe are your words not mine. I wish you would stop talking bad about them, also i wish you would stop eating animals! please
@HappierHealthierYou "also you said you have been drinking milk for the past 5 months!" How must money you got, psycho? Look Missy, you would have to pay me, and pay me very well to drink mik, and even then the chances are that I would not drink it. I simply do not put that kind of sick rot in my precious body. watch?v=yfsT-qYeqGM
@HappierHealthierYou "Then you call yourself vegan, even though you eat fish one a week?" OMG, I just threw up in my mouth a little bit. I have to drive a different route to the grocery store to keep from driving through the fumes of a Captain D's. How freaking sick!
Here is the truth about eating fish: watch?v=zkoUw9gkZfE And this: cancer.gov/cancertopics/factsheet/Risk/cooked-meats
@HappierHealthierYou Actually if you are interested in the destruction to your body and planet that fish consumption causes, check out the facts: watch?v=zkoUw9gkZfE
You are fishing up the wrong tree with you bullshit bait, buddy.

ImaRiseToThaTop 1 month ago
@ImaRiseToThaTop I haven't tried the paleo diet long term because well, I decided long ago that I loved myself enough not to intentionally harm myself with food or lifestyle choices. :)
The B vitamins are not fat soluble, FYI. ADE and K however are and plant foods supply them and essential fatty acids in perfect amounts.
How many calories were you eating, total percent of calories from fat, and how much sleep were you getting?
Don't get me started on the RB's and Natasha's anorexia! ;)
RealRawResults 1 month ago
@ImaRiseToThaTop Thank you. A good diet does not require exotic, expensive, short supply foods using arkane knowledge from some sole-source that is going to make millions selling it all to you. You can buy it all at the grocery store. Just get most of it at the store rim where fruit, vegetables, dairy, fish, poultry and meat are and stay away from the processed junk in the middle of the store. Shop the rim.
jalind1 1 month ago
@ImaRiseToThaTop Yah if you do the diet wrong it's not gonna work. Raw brahs weren't eating enough and Natasha has a B12 absorbtion issue. It's like me driving my car down the highway while i'm watching a movie and I get in an accident and say that cars are dangerous. Paying attention isn't dangerous. Having an eat less mindset and not knowing your body is dangerous.

@dbztiki Dr. McDougall is my doctor ;)
Jordonified 1 month ago 2
So much misinformation. I feel bad for people.
RealRawResults 1 month ago
@RealRawResults I've never heard of fat coating the cells to prevent sugars uptake...I would love to see a source and/or image for that. I find it hard to believe without a source because our cell walls...the lipid bilayer...are already double layer of amphipathic molecules that have hydrophillic heads that face externally and internally to the cell plus fatty acid tails. Amongst the fatty bilayer is imbedded cholesterol. Cells selectively uptake what they need, including sugar.
Oecologeae 1 month ago
@Oecologeae Hey definitely. As far back as 1927 Dr. E.P. Joslin of the Joslin Diabetic Center related the high fat, high cholesterol diet to diabetes. In 1959 the Journal of the American Medical Association also documented this casual relationship between fat consumption and diabetes. A 1979 article in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition also documented that type 2 diabetes could be reversed in a matter of weeks by adopting a low fat, high carb plant exclusive diet. Among other studies.
RealRawResults 1 month ago
@RealRawResults You quote old debunked studies. Even the ADA, which, at the end, clung to the high carbohydrate diet only for managing heart disease risks, had to abandon it when it was shown that a high carbohydrate diet exacerbated metabolic syndrome. Current methods are to manage "glycemic load" which means severly restricting amount and type of carbohydrates to avoid overloading the body's ability to process carbohydrates in a healthy way.
jalind1 1 month ago
@Oecologeae So essentially candida, type 2 diabetes, chronic fatigue, and all these "sugar metabolic disorders" are really just stemming from one thing -- too much fat in the blood and too much fat in the bloodstream. You won't hear this as often though because it makes a lot of sense but not a lot of dollars. You sell less Primal Blueprint Primal Fuel when people hear the truth. ;)
RealRawResults 1 month ago 3
@RealRawResults I hear a Doug Graham fan :P. Bro, have u tried both diets for a longer time? Because I have.. and in the diet u describe my candida was growing and my libido decreased and I got fatter (tried it 8 months). Now I eat alot of meat and raw butter and I am shitting all this candida out very fast with the result of: better sleep, skin, eyes, hair and also low body fat and an enormous libido. This in a matter of 2 weeks. I rest my case.
ImaRiseToThaTop 1 month ago
@RealRawResults There are no single-focus causes to the conditions you named. Mostly they are inherited susceptibilites triggered by environment. Otherwise every obese person would be diabetic, but they're not. Only a small percentage of obese, even morbidly obese, persons are diabetic. For people with genetic propensity, the most exacerbating cause is high glycemic load. Severly restrict the type and amount of carbohydrate and the condition can be managed.
jalind1 1 month ago
@jalind1 Hah mind explaining why doctors like Dr. Neil Barnard and Dr. John McDougall are literally clinically reversing type 2 diabetes and heart disease in patients who follow a high carb, low fat vegan diet? Hmmm that's a head scratcher. ;)
People can blame their diabetes and high blood pressure on ChemTrails and EMFs all they want, it's not going to change anything. Time to step up and accept that you can change your condition or go out in pieces like everyone else. Your choice. :)
RealRawResults 1 month ago
@RealRawResults Are you a SHAC/PETA/PCRM sock puppet or schill? You don't like the remark so you ridicule it with stupid and rude ChemTrails and EMF remarks? Genetic versus environment is another way of saying nature versus nurture when examining causes. High glycemic load is an ENVIRONMENT verus family history which is GENETIC. Large quantities of high-fructose corn syrup in one's diet is one example of a long suspected environment trigger that has yet to be proven or disproven.
jalind1 1 month ago
@RealRawResults I see also that you are promoting Dr. Neil Barnard, known associate (having co-signed Kjonaas' SHAC letter) of convicted SHAC terrorist, Kevin Kjonaas. Dr. Neil Barnard is one of those "you need my expensive silver-bullet, buy all my books, you can't eat anything having to do with an animal, vegan agenda" types I've posted about before here. Even the CDC concluded Barnard had a private hidden agenda. Barnard's PCRM is a known PETA front.
jalind1 1 month ago
@RealRawResults In addition I see you are promoting Dr. John McDougall as well. McDougall will sell you an expensive trip to Costa Rica to hear all about his grain/starch based diet and the evils of any form of animal protein. The Press Democrat describe McDougall as "a small industry, with several cookbooks, a newsletter, a Web site, vegetarian meal cups sold across the country and a nationally syndicated TV show", another self-absorbed spend lots of money on me self-promoter.
jalind1 1 month ago
@jalind1 When people don't like what they hear, they typically take it personally. Sounds to me like I gotcha squirming in your seat a bit! ;)
Notice how you blatantly ignore all the clinical proof that these doctors have shown that fly in the face of what you are saying. I understand, it's hard for our ego to take a blow and admit we're wrong. I really understand. Glad I quit lying to myself, accepted I used to be wrong, and found what made sense though. ;)

HappierHealthierYou 1 month ago
@HappierHealthierYou " just also get yor healthy fat and protein" How are the fats in plants and proteins inadequate to cause you to have to torture animals for their fat and protein? After all, per calorie, spinach has more protein than chicken, as do beans, kale, broccoli, etc, and it is a non-toxic protein. Additionally, all plants have a complete amino acid profile. It seems like such a no brainer to me.
