You obviously misunderstand democracy. If Harper refused Mcguinty on the Proposal of HST He would be considered a dictator. Mcguinty was elected to make the choice for Ontario and Harper cannot undermine that; hence only liberal premiers are introducing this tax hike. Secondly if you have done any research on Hudak, which you apparently have not, you would find that he does not oppose the idea of HST, he opposes the Liberal presentation.
It is crazy how McGuinty forced Harper to pay Ontario billions of dollars to accept the HST that Harper doesn't want. Either that or you are crazy for suggesting it.
I never said Harper was against or for HST once again your missing the point. Mcguinty was elected by the people of Ontario to make choices for Ontario. Regardless of Harpers thoughts on HST he cannot undermine Mcguinty. That is why if you look at provinces that are not under a liberal influence they do not have HST.
I don't believe for a second that Hudak would oppose the HST if he was in power. Harper is giving Ontario money to give out the cheques to help bring in the HST. Hudak as a Conservative is saying he would oppose the interests of the federal conservatives and big business?
I've never voted conservative, but I would if this is true.
Mcguinty has too many items included in the HST Tax and should have looked at lowering the PST before amalgamating the two taxes. Do some research before you try to bash someones position on policy and then you wont have to be told what an idiot you are by someone like me.
So then you are saying Hudak would not oppose the HST if he was in power. He only opposes it because he is the opposition. Thanks for clearing that up
@Johny1G Hudak has previously claimed that he likes the HST. If you don't know a flip-flop when you see one, then don't lecture and insult everyone who calls you out.
Then why did you support it a year ago?

@Johny1G McGuinty couldn't do this without federal authorization.

@Johny1G I understand that this tax was a bad idea, and no one needed to help force it on us.

@Johny1G Harper already is a dictator, what's your point?
