Nice and very touching song, but the maker of the video did forget (deliberately) the political implications of the song, which is about the 1981 republican prisoners' hunger strike demanding to the brit authorities to grant them back their political status. The song is dedicated to the mother of Patsy O'Hara, INLA (Irish Republican Socialist) prisoner from Doire (Derry).
i don't forget. the political implications of the song. is very important... but my video goes deep inside, down the sentimento. i hope. under the skin. under the useless comment. i tried to show the sorrow fot that person. sorry if you don't like but this is my expression.
remembered with pride all 3 INLA 7 PIRA Volunteers who hungered for justice, may their memory live on and our revenge will be the laughter of our children, in a united island
Very beautiful song but yet sad too. I heard it for the first time just now. I love it.

The flame he lit while leaving,
Is still burning strong,
By the light it's plain to see,
The suffering still goes on.
