  • When I was very little, I used to watch this in Dutch. The song was the only thing that I couldn't understand in it>.> Now, when I was looking for this song, I expected it to be in French, because I remember not being able to understand anything of it...haha. Total fail. Ah well, it's still one of my alltime favourite songs<3

  • i just love the english version of this song, the singer is really great

  • muistoja, katoin tätä aina vaikka en osannut lukea teksityksiä, saati ymmärtänyt englantia :)

  • UN NEZ...

  • It's Funny... Normally I listen to Heavy Metal,Power Metal, Industrial Metal, Death Metal, Deathcore ... But...

But this one is so GOD DAMN AWESOME!!!

  • no shit, it remembers me holidays with my aunt too. It was '94, mundial and my first lent video tape on VCR...

  • Ah man the times in the Summer in my childhood where I rented this film all the time! My mum ended up buying me the film cause of my passion for the comics and the movies! This is such an underated animated movie in my opinion.

I also feel Asterix and the Big Fight (British dub) is another movie underated. I didn't used to enjoy that one when I was a kid, it was dark and very dramatic. Since I've grown up, I've really appreciated it more than ever.

    Asterix & Obelix forever!

  • Two Romans didn't get to invade Britain. :)

    Ah, the memories.

  • My 2 friends and I were sitting together at a poker night. And then we came up with the idea to look the old Asterix and Obelix films again. It was a journey into the past. Here in Germany, almost everyone knows the two and our childhood was marked by such great movies.

The songs remind you of the past. We have never forgotten the songs.

  • Same with me.

  • inner peace? gosh me too... !

  • Isnt it Oasis or something like that who screams this?

  • You know why so little americans buy Asterix comic books? It is because no one is there to tell them how good they are. Come on, my fellow Asterix readers! If you have american friends, please, spread the word! Persuade America to understand the cultural values of Europe!

  • Actually, I fell in love with Asterix by these YouTube videos. So don't tell us Americans about Asterix...SHOW US. That's how I came around to loving this series. :)

  • You are ABSOLUTELY right! And people should read the Asterix comics(nothing is better than the original).

  • I need to find the comics. I've read about them and they sound hilarious. I guess I should search my nearby comic book store.

  • Well, as an American, I recently became a fan because I kept seeing the books in the comics section of Barnes and Noble. Out of curiosity, I picked up a few and started reading. I have to say the comics are quite charming and hilarious.

  • What is interesting is fact that in Europe Asterix is more popular among adults then among children. The humor is often so satirical, sarcastic and witty, you must be over 18 to get it... I recomand "Asterix and 12 tasks" movie. Next to "Asterix in Brithan" is by far best Asterix movie and it's capture the irony and humor of the books 100%

  • Jag håller med en av föregående talare.
