easy way to beat primal dialga: chuck a hunger seed at him then all his attacks only do 1hp of damage and he cant move. cheap but easy.

@JaxsonXIII No use the move endeavor, it takes away the difference of hp from him and you, so say if he had 1000 hp and you had 100, 1000-100 = 900. He takes 900 damage and your partner's first move will finish him of, 2 hit KO,LOL :)

Guys it doesn matter the lvl i beat the game couple of times and whe i fought dialga i was lvl 40-43 me an partner your char needs to be a mudkip or a fire type tat can learn smokescreen thats pretty much a essential cause your partner will abuse it your partner needs to have good defenses cause you are more worried about it then yourself squirtle turtwing and piplup are good try charmander and squirtle or cyndaquil and mudkip fire and water is good combo

Not to mention you gotta go through four seperate dungeons, and Dusknoir the first time. Just bring a crap ton of oran berries and elixirs and revive seeds, and you should be good.

(And if you can, learn a two-turn move like Focus Punch or Dig or something)

And you can still go on missions and grind a bit if you feel you're not high enough.

well.... I just went to the black market known as 'Wonder mail' and asked a party of Shinx and Wobuffet to hand me a stockpile of 6 ginseng and 7 joy seeds, and I cleared up the stockpile a bit. I managed to bust the lvl of both me and my partner to lvl 53. Fingers crossed...

Dude, I WRECKED Dialga. I was so surprised at how easy it was. What I did was:

1) Use Violent Seed on my partner and myself.

2) Throw an X-Eye Seed at him.

3) I happened to paralyze him with Force Palm.

4) Dialga started running to the corner. I was like, "No, no, bitch. Get back here, I'm not done yet." Kept chasing him and using Force Palm on him.

5) He recovered from the X-Eye and paralysis. :(...He used Dragon Claw on me.

6) But I did him back with CopyCat, and killed him. :D

Lvl 39 Tododile/Treecko combo. It was hard, Roar of Time hit for constant 80s, Swords Dance wasn't much help for dealing physical damage.

Problem with the boss fights in this game is that they were far too short, but you can't really put the blame on anyone with lack of control of the partner(s) and lack of healing skills (essentially the two things that make RPG gaming strategy..RPG gaming strategy).

@PKMNEmerald i beat Primal Dialga in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 3 at least twice once at Temporal Tower and the rest were at the passage of time in Special Episode 5 Into the Future of Darkness

That's all I did as a cyndaquil against all bosses. Smokescreen. Admit it, life is just a piece of cake with it.

It sure is, except I was a Charmander. Also, the Stun Seed works when you and your partners stats are low. Just throw it at him and heal yourself, put a Power Band on, etc.

Yes MSBrown, your correct. While Runninwind was intentional, the name Sasha was just a coincidence. I named my Vulpix that because they just look like a Sasha.

Dialga wasn't that hard for meh. :O I thought going up Temporal Tower was very much harder than going up against Dialga himself (I kept dyin' tryin' to go up there due to all ze Monster Houses* But I haven't had any actual trouble with Dialga. o.o

I doesn't remember what level I was, but I think it was around level 26-30. =' Perhaps the starter Pokemon I chose were better against Dialga (Mudkip and Pikachu)?
