@StormTrek Doser version isn't better. It has smaller burrs, so is slower/louder than the electronic. Doser version sprays more than the electronic.

Goodness, that sure did spill a lot of coffee grounds. I think it would be best to do the amount for a single cup once, level it out, and then again for one cup. Less mess and overflow.
