It´s absolutely amazing to study you when you paint! Do you sketch the outlines before you add the color? Have you got a photo that you use as a model?

I usually roughly sketch out some basic lines in paint to get the balance of the picture before I start.
If I am doing a seascape of an actual place I use a photo for the headlad as it is important to get that right,,,but the sea is always made up.Thank you .
