  • I`ve just reciently incorporated the Yoga Body Natural method into my yoga practice, I do Bikram Yoga and still do, but less of it and more Y B N to try and increase my flexibility.

    I would encourage anyone to take up yoga, it will change your life.

  • Great but you missed the most important thing? this is extreme never go into this without warming up first and of course get comfortable with easier versions first also come out of it gently even if you are made of rubber you can become lazy with technique, It would take years of practice to do this level of bending some bodies may never be able to go this far. But go to where you can and get massive benfits, also do under qualified instruction first to get it correct and safe.

  • I frequently hear class instructions of not to tip the head back until the sternum is facing up at the ceiling. Why is that? I am still not quite to the drop back, but working on the flexibility in my back and the confidence to hang there and balance. Thanks for the great video!

  • I have a question, after practicing my back bend the next day I feel sore....but it has not eased up and it's been about two months.....I hope I am not doing it wrong! Any advice

I love to see a man this flexible....it shows strength but also that men can be graceful in a musculine way. i am in my 40's and would love to learn to do a back bend...i think starting from the bridge pose (i think that what it was on the floor) would be safer for me...plus this will help me towards my weight loss. keep up the good work!!! :)

  • Im very flexible and can do a backbend the way you did the first time in the video, but I'm scared to do a real backbend like u did (standing up and then going down to the floor) I'm afraid I might break my back. Any tips?

  • There was once a time when I could do a backbend with the greatest of ease. Now, I am sooo out of shape that I can't even push off the floor anymore. LOL I really need to practice this.

  • That bend in his lower back is freaky. Iyengar has the same bend. He didn't push for it, though. He emphasizes extending the rib cage away from the pelvis as much as possible.

  • I'm worried about the lower back, it might snap. The bend seems more on the base of the spine (coccyx) instead the middle... that's worrying. Be CAREFUL! you might injure yourself one day.

  • you don't see a lot of people doing such a backbend in the streets nowadays. i would even say you see more people with such trunks than people doing such backbends.

  • CAn you do this, it mght be pretty simple, but you still need to be careful as you could injure yourself lowering yopurself to the floor like that.
