  • Fuck you core i7 @ 2600 Sandy bridge boots up in 7 seconds.

  • Bleh. Mine boots up so fast that even the people at Cern can't measure it.

  • Mine's boots up only 46 seconds.

  • my computer boots faster

  • um boot time includes logging in

  • 14 seconds :O ...my C2D e4400 2.0@2.5 do it in 16 sec -.-'

  • My computer is faster because of SSD 6GBit/s but the Video quality is quite bad...

  • Maybe I should make a guide on how to achieve super fast bootup? Maybe the hates will then rethink their stance.

  • Troll below me... any way, I'm back and with a new PC. Intel Core i7 930 (2.8ghz), 6gb ram, 1TB HDD, ATi Radeon HD 5870 (1gb)...still can't launch near as fast as this. This PC is the god of PC's.

  • @prestb Thanks mate. A lot of people are disliking the video because they are unable to match the launch time. HAHA. Jealousy at its best.

  • @kidoman1 Ain't that the truth. lol Any upgrades on this thing so far?

  • @prestb Oh yea! Now running a Intel 2600K at 4.8 Ghz, 16 GB RAM DDR3-1600 8-8-8 (still rocking the same SSD and video card though.) And a load of HDDs.

  • @prestb And the best part... I see some ridiculous videos posted here about a 7 second Win 7 bootup... its so obvious that the video was sped up.

  • @kidoman1 Hah! Awesome! And about the haters, it's hilarious how far people will go just to try and be better when really, they're failing even harder by trying. It just makes me laugh HOW MANY people are doing it.

  • @prestb True that. To err is human, to troll is humanity!

  • @kidoman1 Haha, yep. I'm just going to guess you're around the Europe area, I'm in the US so it's almost 12 AM. I'd better head off and get some rest, nice talking to ya. G'night...on my part, that is. :D

  • @prestb Proble becouse you've got a HDD and hes useing an SSD :P

  • @ht448 Yea, that's true. Well at least now I know why. :D

  • hey cool lightsaber oh wait thts ur dislike bar

  • @SwitchXander

"On modern computers, this typically involves loading and starting an operating system. The boot sequence is the initial set of operations that the computer performs when power is switched on."

As soon as it says Windows 7 on the bottom, that means the OS has been loaded and the boot is complete. You don't have to log in to complete booting.

  • My Windows Vista Boots in 6...

  • 80Gb , haha.

  • Disable GUI. and it will boot faster.

It disables the dark windows animation on the boot screen.

  • mines is faster then that bro

  • @NAIMSALIM or dude or whatever

  • @NAIMSALIM Wells guesss whats is fasters thans yourss, mines.

  • fuck u ... install some softwares in it, n after that letme know how fast its booting...

  • SSD

  • mine is 1 sec faster or 2

  • I have Amd Athlon II x4 640 3.01ghz , 4gb DDR3 1333mhz, 1 tb HDD ,

AMD Radeon HD6670 1gb ddr5 and mine boots in 35-40 sec

Nice Specs and Video BTW ;D

  • @LYON275 well he has ssd so it boots so fast because of that.. takes me about 25 secs to boot up my windows and dont have ssd.. :P

  • oh very slow boot up

  • login takes time too.

  • SSDs FTW.

  • jajaja tengo una PC inferior y mi Ubuntu arranca 5 veces más rápido ;)

  • nice, prob is SSDs are damn xpensive... however my SATA III "traditional" HDD performs very-very closely to this (atl least in win startup)

  • @balagehun1991

Even though mechanical HDD's cant even saturate SATAII, huh.

  • @adam3088 I know that. But this is not that simple, I doubt a Win7 bootup depends that much on the drive speed. It's much more CPu speed, if there was so much data to load one wouldn't be able to store the entire installer package on a single-layer DVD. Right, many components of that could be very well-comporessed in order of that, and also updates take much space, neither then Win startup is that much of a drive-intense process (IMHO) Anyway i know what i know that neither mine is much slower:)

  • @balagehun1991

What? CPU speed is in no way the deciding factor of boot times as relatively little processing needs to be done, the average Win7 clean installation is 6-8GB roughly, which although you're obviously not loading the whole of into memory during boot is still a lot of data to retrieve at once from a HDD.

I could go and overclock the shit out of my CPU right now but the difference to boot times would be negligible.

  • @adam3088 haha maybe. hm i never overclock so have no exp with tis. then prolly sum MS secret lol cuz neither thenj this can persuade me that time warps here and what i feel like 10-15 seconds is 1min or so :P anyway, happens what happens with startup times, i dont care. i usually forget the most basic thing about computer speeds, that it is not measured with win startup simply cuz it is not the important factor. i would be ok with 2 min startup if everything else runs smoothly and fast

  • Mine is faster. the dots dont even form the flag.

Its an OCZ Revodrive PCIexpress SSD.

Up to 510MB per sec(read) at ATTO Diskmark!!!

  • SSD makes booting really fast.

  • mine only takes ..mmm 40 seconds gotta love XP

  • @Redthorn57 And Windows 7 boots faster..

  • no need to do standby on my laptop...

it boots in 11 seconds WITH login AND bios output

thanks to my SSD and Linux

  • haha login screen

  • im gettin my ssd tomorrow! :D ocz vertex 2

  • fast but not fast enough

  • sigh

  • mine takes like 13-16 it all depends on how it was shut down

  • this is fast?!

    i just need 12s ^^

  • dammit

    I have an i5 650 @ 3.20 GHz, 4GB DDR3

and my computer takes 15 seconds to boot >:^O

  • Dude its like booting up just to the login thats fake...

  • Nice :D Mine takes like 15 seconds =/

  • What's amazing into it....

any one can do this with such a costly PC...

    LOL......!

  • @ibilal123 Thanks... I guess.

  • rare to come across a video that has a bad a** PC like that O_O

  • @prestb Thanks mate... and guess what... after almost 5 months of the same Windows 7 install, the start up time hasnt degraded one bit :D <3 SSD!

  • @kidoman1 Nice :D

  • @prestb I got a intel 940 intel dx85so board and intel 160gig ssd.. only cost 506... :P

  • @haha48 dang :o

  • damn :S
