Are you kidding me? Using Forrestdale Plaza as an example of businesses going out of business due to immigration crack down?

Outside of Brother's Pizza (please tell me Brother's is still there -best authentic NY Style pizza in Northern Virginia) no store has been there for more than 5-8 years over the last 25 - 30 years. That strip mall has always had a very high vacancy rate. The storefront that the restruant in the video is now used to be an ABC store.

Wow great the economy is getting bad in PWC , thank god. Now this will show them that they need us. They will fall with out us. I wish it was possible for all mex-american or just all mex to leave the country (USA) for one day just to show then how they will fall apart.

If i wanted to be around a bunch of bleeding-heart liberals, i could stand at pretty much any city council meeting in Alexandria or Arlington. Thanks for dragging them bleeding-hearts outside the beltway for at least one night. Really appericate it.

And if you wanna scream "neo-conversative" i'm a moderate independent and support Barack Obama (outside of immigration of course.)

I would think that a moderate independent like you would appreciate movements that support businesses. What's the downside?

i'm not in support of this party b/c it would be like saying i think this crackdown is totally wrong. i feel the crackdown is perfectly legit.

i do support businesses but i'm too busy trying to support businesses in the Landmark area (which in some cases have looked like that empty resturant for 3 years) to worry about businesses elsewhere. Besides if this business can hang on for awhile (the recession cant last forever can it?) housing will pick up and this business will be fine.

So basically you are blaming the immigration crackdown on why resturants are empty? I have another theory, less and less people are eating out b/c the economy kinda sux right now and it aint just in PW County so people may be trying to eat dinner at home to save a lil $. Could that be why so many resturants are so empty? Could be.

Thanks goodness not all the restaurants are empty. But businesses that once enjoyed a multi-ethnic client base are not doing as well. We have a video that interviews a man who is to the right of you, Atrain, and voted for Corey Stewart, but tells his Mailbox Junction business is suffering greatly. It's on our channel page.
