  • lol at least 3 fedoras in this video

  • See it on Netflix, cool ass movie, but then again this is coming from a Nerd. :-)

  • my music has alot of anime themes

  • Check out my monster orgy rap!

  • man ya'll ain't seen shit till you seen asianturkeycore though know what i'm say'n? {;^~

  • Intering

  • I would like nerdcore if I didn't hate rap. I appreciate the talent it takes to come up with the lyrics but I don't have a taste for the music. Most normal rap I just can't stand though since it gives the message that they are the best and they do a lot of drugs and have a lit of sex which makes them gods among men, which isn't true.

Nerdcore to me is an ok genre, and I can definitely appreciate it. Lyrics are great, don't like the music.

  • @grmmripper thats only true for pop rappers, most decent ones rap about serious topics, like Public Enemy, De La Soul, Immortal Technique, etc etc

  • @Baphomet3010 dumb? goddamn men are so sexist

See what I just did there? I'm not saying what she said isn't dumb or wrong, but what you said right there is just as dumb and stupid as what you're making her out to be. Way to stereotype.

  • 1:50

racist? goddamn girls are so dumb

  • Very cool panel at SXSW today!

  • UGHHH, I mean come on you geeks... just because you're all nerds doesn't mean you should subject yourself to shitty ass music... I know plenty of nerdy people who listen to dope Hip-Hop... Why are you guys trying to brand yourself? There's nothing wrong with being nerds...You guys are making it seem like its wrong to be a fucking nerd. WTF?

  • @tee719 i think you missed the point they are proud of being "nerds" they are simply saying we are nerdy kids not hardcore rappers and we like hip hop as well and we want to rap about comics and math rather than bitches and money thats what i took from it anyway

  • @demonsigotsome Took the words from my mouth.

  • Wait, wait....please forgive me if this is a stupid question but...these people....do they rap for a living? I'm not bashing them or anything, but do they actually sell albums and live off solely rapping about nerd topics? 'Cause if they do....dear God, that's awesome. Nerdcore NEEDS TO HIT MAINSTREAM!!!!!

  • great & editing is awsome.

  • Damien reminds me a lot of Robin Williams. :U

  • this dude told me about nerd core the other day, this shit is dope, i didnt know that this was even around, im a producer/rapper working on a mixtape. its called the arcade room, every track on the mixtape is sampled from video games and remixed, check out a snippet of the first track

    Search This

    Ed Bo1-Im On It(EPIC MARIO)

  • i thought mc chris was going to have a bigger part in this movie

  • Nerds are just the new jocks they outnumber them anyway most are just fakers including me

  • NOT MY STYLE BUT NERDECORE IS ILL RESPECT

  • damn im hooked, that mofo is more lyrical than most rappers i know. real hip hop

  • Nerdcore will RISE ! ! ! ! If possible, be sure to check out Nerdcore artist from Atlanta , Georgia , Tacky'Tacky's new song "Seven Years" over on my page. Exclusively ! ! ! Atlanta isn't all about "Snap Music & Trap Music". . . Support Nerdcore Culture ! ! !

  • The trailer, doesn't do movie a justice.

It's too long, and bad edited.

  • This clip explains the roots of the "nerdcore" movement and it's attempt to progress to being further than a simple internets meme...its worth watching

  • ahahahahah the only way to get womans

  • i met this dude in nyc at the knitting factory he is dope as shit signed a cd for me i still have it some where in my house =)

  • You people should be ashamed of yourselves, this is the worst fucking thing ever.

  • @Fredo5227 no

  • MC Frontalot looks like Hitman

  • @MadPumpkinGames bahahah

  • holy shit jello bafiria the godfather of hardcore political punk with frontalot

  • Is there a place for nerdcore folks to meet and exchange ideas?

Shit, I'll be up-front about it: I wanna get into the genre, but I suck at holding a flow. The usual hip-hop forums don't take an ounce of nerdcore seriously, so it's like shouting at a brick wall to get advice.

    GIMME DA LINK!!

  • @GroddGuerrilla You try the rhyme torrents forum?

  • weres yt cracker??!! >=/

  • @69mopar440 how so?

  • they look stupid on stage, but it is good music, go nerd core

  • ahh my nerdy brother's. on behalf of hardcore welcome. hope you succeed and put lil wayne and soulja boi outta business.

  • lol that would be so funny :P

  • @frozenhiphop09 I wholeheartedley agree. Screw Lil Wayne, Give me MC Frontalot!

  • Is that Scott Van Pelt? No wonder he uses all these rap lyrics in his high lights.

  • Rap is another form of poetry, and poetry is a very ancient form of art preformed worldwide by many various groups some of who had no contact with one another. To express ourselves is human nature, and for people to bring race into a subject of human nature that is worldwide is a rather sad thing to see.

So in turn, no one created rap... rap just emerged as an evolution from an ancient form of art. Natural progression much like the English language.

How luck we are to witness such an evolution

  • ACTUALLY, u're wrong. U can quote the definition of poetry if u want... but MC Frontalot is rapping. All genres of music have a traceable history & people who created it. Jazz. Hip Hop. Blues. Rockabilly. Gregorian Chant. Thats why they have Music History classes. Go take one.

With that being said, is NerdCore really that bad? If they're successful & having fun, who are we to hate on them? I don't see this as racist at all. In its own way its kinda counter-culture. And thats pretty cool.

  • "All genres of music have a traceable history & people who created it."

Yes, this is correct. A genre of music is different to the form of music :). I don't think its fair for you to compare the form to the genre. The Form being the overall plan or structure, in this case rap. Rap is a rhythmic spoken delivery of rhymes, wordplay, and poetry. All of which are natural developments in societies globally.

  • Why are people involving race? It has NOTHING to do with race...its music! You either like it or you don't.

  • Yeah it does a bit and er... I'm glad it does because its damn hilarious. =D

  • @jgobert07

you know...that's exactly what i keep telling people...but some crass idiots just don't seem to understand!!

  • what a ton of shit.

  • hes is the shit! i saw him in ann arbor for free and had him sign an mtg card

  • All the rappers are going to think this is a joke but when nerd core rises there going to get their asses handed to them, wtf raciest?

  • Beast digs Nerdcore Rising

  • is this serious?

  • hell yeah.

  • that's my thought exactly, when I heard ordinary hip hop ways back

  • NEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRD!

  • LOL NERDCORE IT SO FUNNY

DAM nerdcore is just like rap, but without the black dudes

i was like crying for the nerdcore and laughting at the same time

come on nerds at least make music like your style like tecno or electronica

not this intent of hip hop with 8 bites sound

anyway i will listen some nerdcore songs to make an constructive opinion about it

  • seems like u pretty much made ur opinion without listening to any

  • you´re right

but now i listen some and i can make the constructive comment now

some nerdcore singers are good and someones are bad but they are better than emo songs

  • Kinda like some main stream rappers are good and some are bad? good observation.

  • what does it have to o with emo songs? lmao wtf r u talin bout

  • Rappers are rappers. These guys just happen to be nerds. As long as you can enjoy and/or relate to the music and the rhymes, i don't see any problems with nerdcore.

  • Apparently, none of the major record labels can see what you and I see Penguin262. Shame isn't it?

  • WTF!?

Crap can't be spelled without rap

but this is diarrhea that kills u

  • watched it last night...or rather at 2:00 this morning. loved it.

  • My lil bro got me into MC Frontalot, I didnt really like it till I saw the Nerdcore rising documentary, but once I watched that I was SOLD.

All this man is doing is being true to himself, and making music the way he likes to make it. Its not a matter of black and white, or nerd and gangsta. Its a matter of self expression in a way that makes your individual self happy, and if it makes a few other people in the process thats all the more reason to keep doing it.

    Long live Nerdcore!

  • Consider this, there are all sorts of flows out there and Chris and Frontalot have their own unique flows just as Ghostface, Game or 50 do.

But consider this. What sort of flow does a rapper who uses grunts or a damn synthesizer on their voice have?

  • kinda like beastyboys :D

  • i freakin love it.

  • the problem here is most of these people have horrible flow. I'm not that good but I'm almost sure (listening to the lyrics in this video) I can write a better song than these people.

  • I understand where you're going with this. I bought an MC Frontalot album and he just doesn't know how to rap. mc chris on the other hand is fucking amazing. mc chris and MF Doom got to be the best thing in the nerdcore genre. Though there are some who would argue that Doom is not nerdcore. I would argue back though, because he is. As for whether you can write a better song, that's very disputable. People's taste in music varies, some good music is hated by people because they can't relate.

  • I doubt MC Chris can be asked to flow on the next Ghostface album. MC Chris is definitely the best of the nerdcore rappers, but then again its still like picking out the less fat ugly girl of the bunch. Wu Tang raps about superheroes, Del raps about videogames, I don't think a nerd genre is necessary.

  • If I told you that I enjoyed mc chris' stuff to Ghostface would you question my reasoning? As I said before, people's taste in music varies. By the by, some consider Del to be nerdcore too. I got Deltron 3030 on my iPod and I love it. The whole idea of a rap battle in space is awesome. It's not often a rap concept album of comes out. And so what if chris isn't asked to be on the next Ghostface album? He doesn't need to piggyback on someone's album to be good.

  • You think so? Then put your sh*t up on the net and PROVE it, or you're just another food court gangsta...

  • it's apparent you haven't seen any of my videos. We get better every time. Our next one is going to blow this stuff away.

  • Well, I took a look at your stuff. I'll give you props for having the stones to put your money where your mouth is. But honestly? You sound like a white guy trying to sound like a black guy...

  • If your gonna rap, at least do it right. The black man's got it down....

  • african americans created rap even though there are a few people saying whites started it.

  • just say niggers, its easier

  • whites did create rap. to be more precise impoverished whites created. there is proof of it as well.

  • WTF....what proof....pleeeaasse show me this bull shit....I am a scholar when it comes to Hip Hop.....as the culture.....the closes thing to rap whites did was "the devil went down to georgia" but blacks have been "rhyming to beat" since the early 70's by then, and there was already African spoken word in which they spoke poetry to tribal drums...and please dont try the dosey do square dance crap, thats not rap, in that case..hey ya hey ya, from ancient tribes was rap......sucka!

  • Also, for those who try to use red sovine, never heard of led belly....jump down spin around pick a pale of cotton, which is alot closer to rap then simply speaking words that rhyme over a country beat.....matter of fact, search original blues artist and you will find allot of it is spoken a lot more rhythmic then red sovine, who also found some influence from an African American baseball player....also the groits of west Africa were also known to deliver stories rhythmically

  • africans did invent rap, NOT AFRICAN AMERICANS< JUST AFRICANS. they used rap to spread news between villages and gather listeneers and be entertaining at the same time

  • well, i await your attempt to blow MC Frontalot 's stuff away. however after watching one of your videos i must say this, your music isnt bad, but it feels kinda like something you wont do anything with. it needs more feeling in my opinion. i love the references, but it's definitely lacking. this feels kind of like, something you did on a weekend with nothing better to do.

  • then do it newfag

  • Ya'll wait for the summer. "First Person Shootout" music video Will blow all nerd rap away.

  • 1:50 what does that hot chick mean by that

  • shes insane

  • Its weird to me that no one realizes that mc chris is still out and he is the best way better then mc frontalot cause frontalot comes in second

  • I'm actually a big fan of Mc Chris, he is what got me into nerdcore. But now it seems he's trying to get away from being a nerdcore rapper...

  • Yeah MC Chris considers it a "dying" genre.

  • That's a subjective statement.

  • Does anybody know who the Japanese singer is on Shame Of The Otaku?

  • those homeboys are askin for it!!!!

  • great vid

    anyone want to chat zK

  • Frontalot is a lame ass fake joke.

  • can someone please tell me what they were saying in the end clip in the van? I couldn't make out half the words.

  • Woot for Nerdcore, MC Frontalot + YTcracker are just plain awesome.

  • sorry u got mad skillz but mc chirs is the god father

  • frontalot coined the term nerdcore and at first mc chris was resentful of nerdcore but then gave it a chance and liked it (wikipedia not sure how much i can trust it)

  • mc chris pretty much dislikes nerdcore and has said he's only going to keep doing it if his kid mc tv show doesn't get off the ground. Mc Frontalot has been making music just as long as chris and actually LIKES nerdcore

  • Hi my names "Afterburner!", if u love nerdcore rap u may like my "TECHRAP!". come listen, & comment!

  • if you subtracted the tongue n cheek shit you'd have

    shaffer the darklord.

    true nerdcore muther f er

  • Nerdcore pwns.

And before you criticize the people that listen to it, why the hell would you watch something about in the first place?

    GG.

  • Ugh how one can be the "Godfather" the be-all end-all of a sub-genre and still be the subject of an "Introducing..." in a documentary that details something that he supposedly is the patriarch for is beyond me.

    MC Chris > MC Frontalot

  • um... i'm pretty sure he said "grandfather" not "godfather" just fyi.

  • read the vid description, noodle

  • i think nerdcore is great..

    listening to mc front

i get vibes of positive old-school style

    portraying modern/virtual/"scientfic" life

    with very chilly westcoast flow

how can anyone hate it? you must be biased or 94 viscosity-pickled shit to not check it.

and it is more hiphop than anything playing on the radio.

maybe it is Nerdy, but not the chafing way. and it's hi-res and romp.

  • I'm trying hard but I can't understand everything they say at the blurb at the end. Does anyone know?

  • yTcracker is better.

  • Hip hip is dead...

    frikkin nerds

  • oh, thank goodness...

"hip hip" is dead, not "hip hop"

    :)

  • That's good to know. I hate hip hip, but love hip hop.

  • I'm gonna see it!

  • another niche fad for middle class white americans.

  • You're just a hater because these guys found something they love to do while still making damn good money while you're still at Taco Bell where the only mic you talk into speaks, "Thanks for coming to Taco Bell can I take your order please ..."

  • Can't sing = rap

  • yo mc frontalot is my idol man he made it cool for me to be who i am

  • Did that dumb bitch say it's racist?

  • i'm not really sure what jello meant.

  • He meant that if someone labels you as something and you agree with that, you will have a very hard time escaping that label. An example is someone calling a band hardcore metal and the singer publicly agrees. When that band tries to move on to different things other then "hardcore metal", their fans will be pissed at them trying new things.

  • He means that if you personify those stereotypes that people associate you with long enough, that's all you're gonna be able to rise up to in a lot of people's eyes, and no farther. It becomes a prison because people's perceptions won't allow you to do anything more than the stereotypes you say you are. So in this case, nerds stay nerds and nothing more than that.

  • What is the name of the song that kicks in at 2:02?

  • whore: I think that nerdcore.. is a little bit racist

    whore..

  • MC Chris > MC Frontalot

  • No offense, but I disagree... In my opinion, FRONTALOT OWNZ!

  • MC CHRIS > MC FRONTALOT

  • Listen to Mr. Biafra, kiddies.

  • MC Frontalot is 2pac on nerdcore.

  • That,Jello Biafra?OMG,hes the man.

  • NERDCORE FOR LIFE MUTHA FUCKAS

  • What is the name of the song at 2:02?

  • Woah, /r songname of that bit with chiptune

  • hihi, i said "bit", i made a funny ;)

  • One attraction to nerdcore would be the strong 90's hip hop influence. Subject matter aside, the genre really shouts out to my high school days. And a lot of it seems to be high production value, thanks Baddd Spellah.

  • yeah, those beats are actually damn well produced, and Frontalot is actually just a damn good rapper. Despite being nerdy white guys they know how to make good rap music.

  • what kind of music do you listen to? I'm sure whatever it is I could make fun of it too.

  • i was being serious :(

  • Haters need to have a few dozen pocket protectors shoved up their ass.

  • word

  • Flaming pocket protectors.

  • Flaming pocket protectors.

  • Flaming pocket protectors.

    Flaming pocket protectors.

    Flaming pocket protectors.

Right? Because the fact that they're flaming makes the joke funnier. Good addition to the other guys joke. Flaming... hahaha. See? I'm still laughing!

  • Uhh...I wasn't making a joke, I was tottally serial

  • God shut up

  • Ahh you're German. Ok makes sense.

  • first of all, learn how to speak. second, you really need to kill it with the "nigger" comment. third, you would NEVER say that to our face, so WHY be a "keyboard coward"?

  • you are an insult to REAL germans. i lived there for 2 years so i know.

  • I KILLED MEGAMAN

  • MC Frontalot owns us all.

  • this is gonna be the coolest.

    Nerdcore for life

  • Mc Frontalot Rulez

  • L SHIFT O TO THE QWO AND THEN $!

  • >.> meh not down with rap/hip hop,.. but atleast has some flavour in the general catagory

  • mc chris is better than frontalot.

  • dont like hiphop.

  • I saw this like.. 5 times... and was like haha wack.. then i saw the dummer... I was like.. whoa! I know that guy. I work with that guy... crazy...

  • He's named like my name!

  • OH SNAP I SEE DA CAPTAIN.

  • As opposed to faggots who post horribly spelled rants with the capslock on. Your post evokes pity.

  • I second that, and HOW DARE YOU SAY I WEAR STAR TREK (I'm assuming you mean trek, unless there is something called star track I am not familiar with) T-SHIRTS! I'm a Star Wars fan all the way! Not a treckie, that's insulting! Oh, so was the rest of your comment, I guess. Also, way to use 1337 when making fun of nerds.

  • Ok, I know it's been a year, probably more, since this comment was made but... could you please offer me a translation for this?

  • Wow, man, you lost a KoRn fan. That sucks! Man, I need to get into Nerdcore, that stuff sounds great! Like Horse the Band only rap instead of hardcore aha. If this is a real movie then I'm gonna see it!
