well think about it Liberty Island is a symbol of everything great about America and the free world for that matter, I don't hold any doubts that it's not a target on Osama's wishlist if you think of it the current war is a perfect example of fiction becoming real. Cobra Commander is like Bin Laden and Gi Joe... well that one should be simple enough to add up.
