Great review guys!! I was wondering about the Pitts EPO plane, and EPO in general. Greta job flying, made it look like it no trouble with wind. Good job testing the "crash resistance" capabilities of the EPO as well. :) I just love the Pitts, can't wait to see what lies ahead.
Thanks Tim! Glad you had a chance to fly the Mini Pitts while we were out at Hermann Airport this weekend! The weather was perfect! as for EPO it is similar to epp in the fact that it is more flexible and more crash resistant than eps foam. I still think epp is more crash resistant but it is also much more flexible and needs more stiffening.
@HobbykingLive No, thank YOU Frank and Paul for letting me fly it!! You are spot on with the foam comparisons. As for the plane, it flew GREAT! I didn't like the throws on the ailerons though. The short wingspan makes it a bit roll-happy, but the short throws lacked the control authority necessary to handle the roll rate. Once it goes into a roll, its a real bear to get out of it. Luckily though, that's just an adjustment fix. Great plane overall!
Thank you for the comment. Frank and I are new members of the HobbyKing team. We are part of HobbyKings' growing effort to better support customers In the USA and Europe. Frank and I are located in the USA, in OFallon, Missouri. Please stay tuned and watch, HobbyKing has some exciting plans for the future.
nitro planes and banna hobby should hire you guys to do reveiws, love the honesty and the real world flying and veiws and mods needed. the fact is nobody makes a perfect arf plane and already knowing what needs to be done makes it easier for us nonpro's to buy things with confidence and know that we can make it work. very well done keep it up.
Thanks frogs84ss! We appreciate your support. We will do our best to keep the reviews honest and real. Soon we will be helping HobbyKing with a Blog that will even suggest possible modifications for some of these ARF planes. So thanks again for your support!
Hey Paul & Frank great review seems so natural for you. That is a nice little plane just not able to land on grass with those small wheels wasn't you Paul.
Great review boys and i'm glad you gave an honest review ;-) not like some on the tube where they do promos for a company and say it 100% and you just know it's not as good as they say because you have already done your home work on it ;-( anyways keep up the good work and keep them coming = 5*
Thanks startazz! We will do our best to give honest reviews so you and all the viewers can see what the products are actually like. Thanks for your support!
Thanks for your comment and watching. There is a bigger version of this Pitts Special on HobbyKing's website. We are hoping to do a review on that model too in the future. Thanks!

No rolls or loops? The plane looks a little fast for indoors.
