Back in the 80's I was a tour guide on Pacific Voyager - a cruise liner.,When i look back to the 80's I remember what a special time it was. It was the "easy life", a time of champagne, wine and celebration. A time to meet many different women and have many tropical holidays with them on remote islands in the pacific. A time to drink pinacoladas and forget about financial troubles. A time to bang as many hos as you can. A time to gamble money and make big winnings.
It doesn't get much better than Earth, WInd and Fire LIVE. I Agree, Mr. White wasn't at his best during this performance, but let's cut him a break. Just the fact that he's up there singing despite whatever medical issues he may have been battling that day is reason enough to give him props. He wrote and produced some of the best music of our time. God bless every member of this band for their contribution to our lives and the music industry. TRUE LEGENDS!!!!!!!
as an 18 yr old i wish i was around during time wen only real music made it to the radio. now we got straight shit. they let anyone get on the radio. all these ppl think they can singbut they really just sound a mess. ewf thanks for opening my ears to good music
@dbabmgv09 Check out Maze featuring Franky Beverly, they are another one of my favorite groups. If you young folks will Keep listening to the good stuff, the bad will go away. Also, pick up a musical instrument and start playing it, listen to good R&B, Jazz, Blues and play it. Be a student of good music.
He sounds good to me. It is not his best performance, but he has had magical performances. THese guys set standards that are at the top. Maurice you still the man. I just hope we have some genius like him come again. We are losing good music fast. We need more true songwriters and artists.
Hi Supermangdp7. U no need to be angry with LutherLaBelle because He/she never know that Maurice White been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in the late 1990'. he is the best of the best and most talented singer, writer and producer ever in the history of music. Even until today Y2008 his music is still very good to listen and we won't feel bored by listening to it repeatedly. God bless Earth Wind and Fire! Cheers!
hey fuck you LutherLaBelle i'd like to see you go up there without parkinsin's and sing half as well as maurice does. he's one of the greatest singers of our time. we know his name, not yours- other than for being an ignorant jackass
Sometimes even top singers go flat because they can't here themselves over the music maybe his mic wasen't set up right, but he does adjust at 44 sec then he is perfect, i have this dvd and he sings amazing all the way through same as bailey, top band.
My Dad was diagnosed with Parkinson's the same year Mr. White was. I guess that's why any EWF music always sends shivers up and down my spine. "After the Love" is a great song. My Dad died on March 2 of this year (2008). He was 80.
This is the best band to date, and this is more than enough proof. I really wish Maurice was never crippled, he is so talented and all of a sudden he can't use it any more because of some damn disease. I'm going out to get some of there albums tommorow, I can't believe I only have a few of there past records in my collection.
Such a great band.

Maurice was already affected by Parkinson on that video, he sounds and looks very cautious and aware of it. very courageous man.
