Actually the almost this entire seen was ad-libbed. The therapy scene took everyone by surprise. According to Damon's commentary in the DVD version of the film, this caused the cameraman to laugh so hard that the camera can be seen moving at 1:03 and 1:13, and it actually seems you can hear him laugh.Two tremendously talented actors who can just improv this seen with such ease making it seem real while at the same time making you laugh your ass off.

You know...I never appreciated this movie when it first came out because I was a kid. But with a dialogue scene like that...I have GOT to see it again! For the first time since becoming an adult!
@BlazeyStorm If you look closely, you'll see the camera wobble and shake ever-so-slightly. The reason is because the camera man is also laughing his ass off while using the camera to support his weight.
@casper123 You can find the original screenplay online, most of the lines in there except the farting story, that could have been improvised knowing Williams.
I loved this scene so much that I did some research on it and this actually wasn't a part of the script. In other words this is actually Matt Damon and Robin Williams laughing and having a conversation with each other.
