  • thats a pretty good quote "truth doesnt have opinion. truth is either true, or not true. either im lying to you, or im telling the truth."

  • LOL it is so true that the one's who preach "tolerance" are they themselves the biggest haters and most intolerant. That expression they use is just to quell any opposition to their way of thinking by use of guilt because the know that the right are susceptible by virtue of their genuine heart and compassion and easy going way. It's should be obvious that any group that can kill a child is WRONG!!!

  • The main problem I have with conservatism is that is preaches about "small government" and capitalism at the same time. These don't seem contradictory in nature, but when applied to society I can see how the two would conflict. Capitalism creates economic disparity, I'm sure we can agree on that. This in turn leads to crime, which the government will inevitably try to prevent by force, thus increasing its own power and scale . This is a contradiction which I can't seem to get my head around.

  • You make a compassionate and seemingly valid argument but where does it say that America stands for guaranteed and equal economic achievement? This land is based on freedom and liberty and it is considered by the "world" as the land of "opportunity" NOT guaranteed support. The problem occurs when our politicians sell us out to greed instead of creed. That's where the disparity begins to occur and take root. We need to be more involved in our own democracy.

  • Financial capital isn't the only thing which is inherited though, there is also cultural capital (education, speech code etc) and social capital (connections) and if you're born into a working class family you'll have less of these than someone in a middle/upper class family. You don't see very many doctors, lawyers, journalists, or politicians coming from poor backgrounds because capitalism recycles not only wealth, but culture. Is there anyway you could rectify this under capitalism?

  • Ru kidding? that is not an argument but a statement. "Not many doctors, lawyers journalist...coming from poor backgrounds" This entire country's trademark is a "land of oppurtunity" where millions have come to from other countries and still do today for the opp to achieve success through hard work and determination. Today's generation is all about slacking and gangsta , drug and thug and give me a free hand-out is today's philo. We have lost the zest , zeal and work ethic that made US Great!

  • Well I just think there's a correlation between life chances and socio-economic background. However, I do find myself becoming more disillusioned with that notion because I'm from a working-class background and I'm doing very well in education. Even if capitalism did create this cultural and economic disparity, I don't see how that can be solved with welfare. So yeah, I can see your point, but what I'm wondering is: how do we solve it?

  • The principle problem in the people in our government who behave like drug dealers with our taxes and of course the outright corruption. The behavior and the character of the leaders is what created the government that allowed us the freedom and opportunities we had (i.e. founding fathers, constitution) and so has the decline of morality resulted in this disaster (i.e. barney frank, chris dodd) We need a moral center.

  • The thing is, capitalism will never have full or even mass employment because in its pursuit of profits it creates surplus labour through proletarianisation, downsizing etc. When this happens you have an underclass of perpetually unemployed people who have to turn to crime for sustenance. Studies show that in countries with the biggest gap between the rich and the poor have the highest levels of mental illness and crime. You can't separate the private sector from the social, they correlate.

  • DUH.. the poor will always be with us..employment is always in a state of flux. The early 20th century seems to be a real example of a complete contradiction of your theory. The United States had the greatest and strongest economy with the highest standard of living BEFORE all these entitlement programs were added. So with the historical FACTS of our USA history you still want to shovel that NONSENSE?? Go to china or russia then...Bye

  • I was trying to get you to convince me that capitalism was the way forward, but I guess you're more interested in insulting me. By the way, Russia and China are capitalist nations, you should know that.

  • If referential historical FACT isn't enough, what could I possible point to as an example that would wake you up? China and Russia are capitalist? lol yeah that way they always referred to us as "capitalist pigs" ru joking where do u get this stuff? Ho do u down capitalism and then cite them? lol so why then are you arguing against it? We are talking about politics and how the government should NOT be in business.. Russia has a centrally PLANNED economy .. read a book

  • Well if you knew anything about Anarcho-Socialism or its historical successes then you'd know that Capitalism isn't the only way to run a society. They referred to you as Capitalist pigs when they were Communist (not Marxist - it's an important distinction) but now they've opened themselves up to free trade. I'm arguing against it because I'm interested in the truth, so I'd advise you to read a book other than the fucking Bible....

  • nice show ben love your show, keep it up

  • only one thing to say, Ben you're freaking amazing!!!!!!!! keep on preaching the truth man, there's nothing better. please keep posting.

    thanks.

  • AWESOME!!!!

I love hearing from the callers. It makes the show more exciting. I can sit here listen to Ben prove them wrong over and over everyday. The caller here knows that Ben was telling the truth, but he would rather disagree with Ben than admit it, because of his pride.

Keep posting and we'll keep listening, Ben. LOVE YOUR SHOW!!!

  • Yeah it's so funny listening to caller not recognizing the truth or being able to refute it? Good show

  • If you'd studied Sociology, History, Politics or had read any related works then you'd know that Capitalism is exploitative. Surplus value, prolterianisation, state repressive/ideological apparatus, hegemony, reserved army of labour and an oligarchical concentration of economic and political power are all concepts which point to this conclusion. No system is perfect, and it's obvious that you just want to pontificate like the indoctrinated sheep you are. I won't reply again, you're boring.

  • I have never read any communist material so NO i didn't know that what the world agreed was the greatest county and the land of opportunity was just unfairly taking advantage of all those countless immigrants who came here and made something of themselves by WORKING for it. Thanks for your re-written historical observation Comrade ! All you have is criticism without any supportive substantive facts, and you accuse me of being a sgeep and boring? lol

  • Haha!

  • You could absolutely tell asap that the idea of the value of humanity was 100% foreign to that dude when y'all started talking abortion. Way to go, giving props to your two yr/old! I have four kiddo's, I do not intend to go all Nadia S. or anything, but if my husband and I get prego again...praise the Father and His Son Yeshua...another LIFE entrusted to us; a LIFE pre-ordained~ from the foundations of the earth! A LIFE which Y'SHUA already died for! Dang it, I just dig your show! SHALOM!

  • Thanks, 78sEVEn78
