Malleck this melodious Bhajan(Chanting) was composed by great Krishna devotee named Surdas.The esence of this Bhajan is that it is showing the importance of devotion/Bhakti which was stated by Krishna in Gita as well. Surdas gives couple of example where Krishna acted like a servant due to his love towards his devotees. It is believed that Krishna came to see Surdas who was blind and could not see in the form of a dog to disguise him where Surdas recognized Krishna.
