great vid i'm a try the sauce. did you know that spread butter is not the same as the block butter. different flash points or something. contains more water too i think. i used to use spread butter to cook. but switched back to block. there is a difference. congrats on the weight loss!
why not cook the fish in the butter to start with? use a lower heat like the other dude said. won't brown the butter and still tasty.
the reason its cooked on the outside but not done on the inside is because u have the heat turned up too high. try a lower heat and it will get thouroghly cooked troughout :)
No prob...I'm thinking the same thing. :) The cat likes everything. But he knows the word "no." In fact he is trying to eat my oatmeal right now. Ugh. :)
If you substitute olive oil for butter in everything you use it in, youll lose weight. olive oil is much more healthy. Youll get used to the taste, and like the fact that you dropped 5 lbs effortlessly.
Thanks for the suggestion & I do use olive oil quite a bit but I like using butter in this particular recipe. And, since this video, I've lost about 22.5 lbs (in 3 months), so I think I'm doing okay, but I really do appreciate the suggestion.
Haha...thanks. Isn't it funny how different accents attract different people. You Brits have the greatest accent, I think, but sometimes some Southern accents really drive me crazy. Hehe
I'm working on one area at a time. I'm also not one of those organic/unprocessed food only people. I buy it sometimes but I'm not going to go out of my way to get it. I'm just trying to make smarter choices right now. Later on, I may move to a less processed diet but for now this is working for me.
Oh, that's right. I think I knew you were in TX and forgot. I've never been there but I've met a lot of people from TN and you do sound just like them.
I'm not too far from TN b/c I'm in the SW part of VA. I guess that's why you sound so familiar.
I'm one of those few Texans that doesn't think this state is "greatest state of all." I mean it's okay but I don't like the heat. We don't all wear cowboy hats & boots. A lot do, but not all. I hate country music but I grew up in the country & prefer it over the city. Ironically, I live in a suburb of Dallas right now but I'll leave the first chance I get. Dallas is too crowded, busy, hot, & I never had allergies until I moved out here. Obviously, I don't work for the tourist bureau. :)
Mmmm, it's only 7 in the morning on Sunday but my mouth is watering from looking at that! I have fish in the freezer right now. I may have to try this tonight.
Your cat was cracking me up meowing and I just love *your* accent. You sound like you're from TN. I forget where you are from. I'll have to look.
That is so funny. You are the second person who has thought I was from TN. I've lived my entire life in TX except 2 yrs in college when I lived in northern Arkansas. I wouldn't mind living in TN one day so if I do I guess I'll fit right in. :)
You know, you could probably do it with chicken too. I've noticed almost all seafood recipes can be used with chicken too. Also, pork, I hate pork so I usually use those recipes on chicken.
I haven't tried brown rice yet. Maybe I'll get some tomorrow & try it. I've tried brown pasta & ended up throwing it out. Yuck. I heard you have to cook it just right or it doesn't work out so maybe that's what I did wrong. But, I have not had pasta in like 3 months so maybe I'll try it again. Maybe after all this "detoxing" I'll like the brown now.
yeah baby

that seems like margarine, not butter/
would be much healthier to go to natural food store and buy Earth Balance, expeller pressed soy; no cholesterol but tastes GREAT

Rice is my best friend. Well, brown rice. It's amazing and I have it several times a week.

It was quite good, but Archie got none. He did get to lick the plate afterwards but I don't think he liked the cayenne pepper too much.
