fosgate is no way the best brand out there. For the general public yea, but companies like RE, FI among others are better than RF, just thats more geared toward comp. Your 1000.1bd probly pushes a solid 1500 rms and is an excellent amp. And yes, Fosgate is better than Kicker, but i dont know about 10x better. Kicker makes great products for the price (about 20% cheaper than fosgate) and its underrated. Your setup is similar to mine, only i have cvrs, not L7, i bet yours is quite a bit louder
