I agree that we do not want to collapse with our present system, but even with a dollar tied to its ACTUAL value, as opposed to the credit-based system, there are other huge problems such as the overexploitation of natural/human resources. Corporations (with the government's support) are responsible for the disappearance of non-renewable resources. These powerful countries need to realize that the value of the dollar is also tied to the FUTURE availability of resources...
