LOL Mel5049~ The story behind this is that she went up (meaning she forgot her line) so she just started improvising. Instead of the director yelling "Cut" he let it play out. Brilliant choice actually. Watch it again and watch Martin Mull crack a smile and then Tim Curry. Tim ulimately jumps in with her line and gives her the reprieve. Hilarious! Madeline Kahn was one of our great comedians!
