  • Nice boat and hey its all trial and error ..important thing is no one was hurt.

No need to rip on the guy...give em a break

  • Bahaha. Motor turned into an expensive anchor.

  • I concure 150 merc inline 6's were a torqy motor had one for 8 years no issue but allways changed w/p impeller every season

  • song??

  • Never own a an in line 6 cyl merc. I had one on my boat and it lasted all of 45 seconds. Too much trouble with water pumps on these and that create big problem$

  • Mercury's inline 6 motor was one of there Greatest outboards EVERY built. Nothing wrong with the water pumps as long as there change every year

  • too much weight in the back. i am gonna build a nice 10' one o.O

  • At 6:05 it was amazing im sorry about that bot so so funny

  • wow you fail, its not even that fast and it fell apart

  • annoying music for an annoying video of an annoying boat that no doubt annoys many people try to enjoy a day on the water without the noise and worry of getting killed by this thing of yours.

  • is the water flat enough

  • What is the name of that Hydroplane, Cuz I would like to build one and that looks Great! and if you have the plans could you fax or scan them on to the computer and email them Please?

  • this exact same thing just happend to me .. not very fun ...

  • I think i pissed myself at about 6:05 thats hilarious!!!1

  • Deju en riktig HYDRO dom har fattat att sluta leka med Swing, Feijke´n boorde ju ha en.

  • Very cool. I have been toying with the idea to build one for myself here in texas.

  • Hurry Up and Finish the boat!! I wanna Race you lol

  • what is the name of the number ?

  • what happened well your lucky that steering cables are so strong but you need to work on your starting skill and adjusting your carbs sound way too rich

  • you should 2.5 merc with a short shaft& a hydo jackplate so you can trim it at high speeds..i have 19.5 hydro stv im doing 102mph.good luck with it

  • I got a 21 pitch Brass 2 Blade prop u could try out, not enough pitch for my 70.had alot of stern lift, Not enough bow lift

  • i might take u up on that. i have to go, ill be in contact though. ttyl

  • whut prop u runnin??? whut differnt motor are ya think of too put on it

  • i think its 18"-19" its just the work prop that came with it. we've looked at other props, have a 23" on it, didnt help it at all though for top end speeds. where thinking 60hp-70hp

  • whuts on the boat Now?

  • 90 hp merc, but its a beast, it takes off so fast, hurts ur neck but not good at top end speeds, and i cant get it on the forks upfront cause the weight at the back

  • Thats a pretty sick Boat,I have a cottage on Chandos, and have seen that boat once or twice, but never close up,Whut speeds are u gettin, with that old Merc

  • 40 mph, nothing to crazy, looking at getting a different motor, something smaller with higher revs, its a work in progress

  • hahahahahaha

  • what happened man, why'd your motor fall off? is it a merc 650 (65hp)? i'm in the process of building the tiny-titan or whatever its called. the one person hydroplane. I've got a 28hp McCulloch sitting around, it should fly.

  • is that on chandos lake?

  • yep

  • going w/ w ww.fralickboats.c om

  • looked@ glen L which boat did you modify? those those things are butt-ugly, soopazilla!

  • i dont know where the x2 plans went, they were up on google awahile ago. on glen-l check out the pickle fork, its a good design

  • roger that, 'cuz google had nothing. so it really is glen -L, eh? i

  • roger that. it seems most all hydro plans are too old/ fuggly and need alteration.

  • ya, they all are, glen-l has some good designs but they only seat one. If you want a big one you need to alter the designs. Im very happy with what we did to it though. If you look at the X2 plans, where the nose is rounded, under that is the sponsons. We stretched those sponsons, and moved back the nose, and thats what we came up with

  • where'dju get the plans to build it? got spec on it? nice -looking ride!

  • if you google "X2 Hydroplane" it shows you what plans we got and used. We changed them a lot though to make it look cool, the original plans just look old

  • what lake? chandos?

  • ya, chandos lake

  • I think I've seen you guys with a black boat. It went literally 90 degrees it pulled so hard. Are you guys shipwrights or just enthusiasts / hobbyists?

  • no black boat, and just hobbyists.

  • Is this Matt from Milton? Looks like your boat! Hope all was salvageable! Pop in the CBF forum and fill us in!

  • sure is my boat, ill put a comment up on CBF forum

  • What happened? Did the transom break, or did the motor slip off of it? Let us know. And I hope you post a new video when you get it going again.

  • the motor just slipped off, to much torque, we only had it clamped, now we have it bolted, and a fin on the bottom

  • hey Matt, could i get you to e-mail me?

    jjjeffcoat at comcast dot net

would like to ask a few questions about your boat.
