Sometimes I just after life theres a positive side for everyone including all those who drinks or were abusive. I just wish there is a world where our divine leader would just let everyone start over and live a happy life but that may not be the case. Just continue to be the bigger person and forgive him for what he did to Linda and forgive yourself.
A friend of mine just went through something similar, and I'll say here what I told him: Forgiveness is earned. If the father did nothing to deserve said forgiveness, then Linda has no reason to feel bad for withholding it.
Your friend Linda is an incredible person for doing everything she did for her father when she was getting nothing in return. Not alot of people would have done as much as she did. I'm sad for her and am sorry she has to go through all this pain.
I just wanted you to know I watched and listened to you, I started typing a response but it went over the character count - by a lot, so I sent you my thoughts about this via a message to you. In friendship, Summerbreeeze
you can live ,or you can keep drinkin'his response was to always keep 2 bottles of jack daniels under the front seat of the car, which he usually drove down hot Texas hiways so blinded out of his mind it was a miracle some nights that he didnt kill somebody.he hit my mom one night, and I trapped the mother fucker under the dining table,he had the wimpy freakin' gaul to beg for me not to hurt him. he finally died from an inoperable brain tumor caused by the freakin'poison he sucked down
position,in the middle of the floor and puke up what was left of his fucking liver.the bastard was begged by people who cared about his sorry ass,to go to AA,when he failed that he came home and laughed about it,then went out and tied on a 3 day drunk. he put my mother thru hell ,he put me thru hell,he put anyone else who ran across him thru a hell of a lowdown time, but for some inconceivable to me reason, people liked him because he was the life of the party..yeh,they gave him the warning(^^)
