As for Kerry King's solos, i disagree with you. Most of the time they are pretty creative, fast and awesome! But that's my opinion as well.

Innovations in music even... Some people say slayer just hit random notes.. and that is a cliche true of some thrash metal bands & songs.. but slayer are not that way, they had a blazing, dark style of their own. It could just be that you don't like them, but maybe it goes over your head. When I first heard slayer, it took quite a few listens before my ears made true sense of what i was hearing.
