Surely, if it was a species, it would say THEIR huge tusks, not HIS huge tusks. Remember, there was only one Raw-Jaw in the Savage Planet episode too. So either he's the only one or there is more Gorillaphant's, but he's the only one of them called 'Raw-Jaw'.
