Somehow I knew that box was gonna be dropped! I've never seen any of these videos until now. Stewart/ Klark Kent rules!! I think KK should have been a star, kinda like the Residents, but I'm sure being in disguise 24/7 wasn't for Stew. BTW, this is the first song I cranked when I got my first apartment. KK forever!!!
I actually prefer Klark Kent over The Police. My fav Police songs were mostly those by Stewart Copeland anyway (not that I don't appreciate Sting's and Andy's work).
Yeah, and unfortunately rock radio sucks as those Stew-penned songs you never hear on the radio, like A Sermon or Fall Out.Me, I blast Away From Home on the ipod, lol.
OMG! I didn't know there were videos! I was just going through my old records and came across my Klark Kent album and wondered if there was anything on here with him. I was pretty surprised to find a couple! LOL! :D Go Stewart!
Andy's autobiography is amazing!! What a book / story. So many incredible stories, and a great closeup into the Police. Cool to hear somebody else talking about that book.
My brother loves reading rock biographies, and picks up many of them. Don't know if I wouldn't have read this one if he hadn't first, but I'm really glad I did.
I just read Stewart Copeland's new autobiography. Excellent read. He's very modest and self-effacing, although it's clear that Sting had enough ego to supply the entire band, he goes out of his way to make clear how much he admires Sting's songwriting and talent.
I heard "Theme for Kinetic Ritual" in 1980 or so on the radio and drove right down to the record store and ordered the EP. They laughed at Me at the store! I didn't know who Klark Kent was until about 5 years later !! This EP was the soundtrack to my life. WTF, still is !
Why don't the Police re-group? or at the very least have Tony Lewis (of the Outfield) front the NEW POLICE or call them the SECRET POLICE if Todd Rundgrin can front the NEW CARS anything is possible-----The Outfield used to cover messege in a bottle in concert and Tony Lewis does a phenominal Sting impression!!!!
Killer video. I knew I could see some Klark Kent here! The funny thing is this video has more production value and staging than most Police videos (up until Synchrohicty at least).
Look at this thing, it's like alot of what's on YouTube. Like the first Vlog being rediculous in the bedroom or house to music, only he played all the instruments himself. I waited 20 years to see this, I never had a chance. I started playing music because of the band The Police. Notice how Stewart was a big part of their sound.
I saw this on MTV's The Cutting Edge back in summer '84. (please someone post some more Cutting edge shows!!) Klark Kent also played the inro. for the show. I saw Police synchronicity tour '83, and I have been influenced by stew since '81. I'm an old man now, but I'll always be a young Police fan in my heart. K2
Stewart is so unbelievably talented! It's amazing, I wanna be as cool as him when I'm older :) I'm 16.

Great Stewart, as ever. I saw him on stage in Rome with his new project "gizmo" and was in perfect shape. His drumming is always incredible!!

It's a lip sinc version of "Don't care" and Andy and Sting are on stage too.
They are wearing masks though.

Sorry about the above message. I had a major brain malfunction - the autobiography is Andy Summers NOT Stewart Copeland.
