  • Stewart is so unbelievably talented! It's amazing, I wanna be as cool as him when I'm older :) I'm 16.

  • Where's the monacle to wear outside the sunglasses? Now I do say!

  • I put my KK vinyl album on CD, and now it's on my iPod. I take Klark with me everywhere.

  • Who's Sting?

  • What i wouldn't give to see Stewart Copeland go on Tour as Klark Kent!!! It would be BIGGER then Sting upcoming tour!

  • Somehow I knew that box was gonna be dropped! I've never seen any of these videos until now. Stewart/ Klark Kent rules!! I think KK should have been a star, kinda like the Residents, but I'm sure being in disguise 24/7 wasn't for Stew. BTW, this is the first song I cranked when I got my first apartment. KK forever!!!

  • I actually prefer Klark Kent over The Police. My fav Police songs were mostly those by Stewart Copeland anyway (not that I don't appreciate Sting's and Andy's work).

  • Yeah, and unfortunately rock radio sucks as those Stew-penned songs you never hear on the radio, like A Sermon or Fall Out.Me, I blast Away From Home on the ipod, lol.

  • perfect song!!!!!!!!

  • Stewart lives in a box!LOL

  • lol... had to list this in my 80's playlist.

this tune didnt hit IOWA until 1981...

  • when i'm stressed out, i listen to this and it makes everything feel less serious and easier. i just love it.

  • Such music does that.

  • Something's brewing there, at Kent Labs..

  • Kent Labs brews more wholly than Speaker's Corner.

  • WOW.

Haven't seen this since it was on TOTP in late 70's I think.

Thought i was imagining it, as when I mention it to friends they don't remember it, & think I'm confused (shh I am)a great blast from my youth.

    well done postee - thanks

  • OMG! I didn't know there were videos! I was just going through my old records and came across my Klark Kent album and wondered if there was anything on here with him. I was pretty surprised to find a couple! LOL! :D Go Stewart!

  • Shame on you to forget about your music!

  • LOL I love Stewart's voice XD I could listen to him all day his songs match my life so much hahaha

  • "rich in a ditch" is the shitch.

  • I wish someone could find the whole video. 120 Minutes used to play it every few weeks.

  • Really?

  • part of the 10 inch green vinyl and someone must add the liner notes, bal great

  • What about "Rich in a ditch? Does that have a video?

  • Kinetic Kid StriKes again!

  • Great Stewart, as ever. I saw him on stage in Rome with his new project "gizmo" and was in perfect shape. His drumming is always incredible!!

  • There is another Klark Kent video also - i have it on vhs.

It's a lip sinc version of "Don't care" and Andy and Sting are on stage too.

    They are wearing masks though.

    JB

  • Daah...

Welly,actualy-I didn't see anywhere that Andy admires STing's talent.. O_o And i have read that book.

  • Sorry about the above message. I had a major brain malfunction - the autobiography is Andy Summers NOT Stewart Copeland.

  • Andy's autobiography is amazing!! What a book / story. So many incredible stories, and a great closeup into the Police. Cool to hear somebody else talking about that book.

  • My brother loves reading rock biographies, and picks up many of them. Don't know if I wouldn't have read this one if he hadn't first, but I'm really glad I did.

  • I just read Stewart Copeland's new autobiography. Excellent read. He's very modest and self-effacing, although it's clear that Sting had enough ego to supply the entire band, he goes out of his way to make clear how much he admires Sting's songwriting and talent.

  • The biggest ego's in the Police were Sting AND Stewart.

  • Oh,god-is that really Stewart?! He looks so weird... :D

  • I heard "Theme for Kinetic Ritual" in 1980 or so on the radio and drove right down to the record store and ordered the EP. They laughed at Me at the store! I didn't know who Klark Kent was until about 5 years later !! This EP was the soundtrack to my life. WTF, still is !

  • Thanks mate. I have all that green vinyl but I've never seen this. Anyone got that Koteja video, or any other solo Copeland?

Saw him on TV the other day referring to "Stingo" with a large smirk...

  • why smirk?

  • More Klark Kent please!!! Don't Care is one of my fave songs on that disc!

  • Why don't the Police re-group? or at the very least have Tony Lewis (of the Outfield) front the NEW POLICE or call them the SECRET POLICE if Todd Rundgrin can front the NEW CARS anything is possible-----The Outfield used to cover messege in a bottle in concert and Tony Lewis does a phenominal Sting impression!!!!

  • Killer video. I knew I could see some Klark Kent here! The funny thing is this video has more production value and staging than most Police videos (up until Synchrohicty at least).

  • This is totally Kinetic!!!!!

  • Look at this thing, it's like alot of what's on YouTube. Like the first Vlog being rediculous in the bedroom or house to music, only he played all the instruments himself. I waited 20 years to see this, I never had a chance. I started playing music because of the band The Police. Notice how Stewart was a big part of their sound.

  • I saw this on MTV's The Cutting Edge back in summer '84. (please someone post some more Cutting edge shows!!) Klark Kent also played the inro. for the show. I saw Police synchronicity tour '83, and I have been influenced by stew since '81. I'm an old man now, but I'll always be a young Police fan in my heart. K2

  • <3 <3 <3!!!

  • Are you kiddin' me? I have'nt seen this video in over 23 years! I was beginning to think I had imagined it! Thank You!

  • GREAT UPLOAD THANKS !!!
