  • Solos where kind of bad, the rest was great

  • マリンバが神

  • my brother play in there. im proud of him.

  • マリンバきれいにそろってる!

  • 全国ナンバーワンだけありますね

  • as in drums, i mean

  • do you guys use other equipment as opposed to our pearl and dynasty? i can see yamaha as a common factor, but does japan have nation-exclusive brands?

  • I thought it was amazing.

  • かっこよすぎ。

    って自画自賛か・・・。

  • このナレーション!!

  • This Carmen is inferior as compared with KGMB's.

  • Amazing.

  • I play in the front line at my high school, so I really like this band because they have a very good frontline, as well as a large one. However, overall, I like Nishihara better. They are amazing. Not saying this isn't great, but... well Nishihara kicks butt. :) And don't get me wrong, Nishihara has a great front line! They just don't place it in as much of an important role as this group.

  • さすが

  • 天理のバッテリー最高!!さすが王者って感じやわ(*゚▽゚)/゚・:*

  • I like their drum break in mvt 3

  • Do you see how much better they are than American marching bands? Do you know why? Because the school system is allowed to actually make the kids work hard and earn achievement and recognition. American kids and parents these days are entitlement-whores.

  • really?

well my school not really active as like that.... kinda sad.... even coir as all....

  • I don't agree with that completely. Take an ensemble that size out of Oak Mountain High School or Grissom High School in Alabama, and they can match this easily. In many respects the individual talent level among American kids is much higher, as is their understanding of music. Also compare this with DCI, and DCI will rip this apart. Many kids are this age or younger in DCI. I just hear relatively in tune notes played very cleanly technically but no real motion, note grouping, phrasing, etc.

  • Uh, I think that's a little too biased.

  • you need to check out nishira, i mispelled that but still, their drill is amazing, i saw avon perform the same music as did this one japanese group, and this one japanese group just killed it. it was astounding, and the thing about the DCI, is that japanese could compete drill wise but not music, and this is HS not professional.

  • That is not biased at all. There is a LOT of talent and discipline in the best programs in the USA. You shouldn't even begin to think otherwise. DCI is not professional and a lot of DCI corps kids are high schoolers.

Nishira is a really good group, too. They have done some very impressive stuff. But they are the best Japan has to offer. The best in America attain those standards as well. Check out many Texas HS bands, and you'll see what I mean.

Excellence exists all over the globe.

  • well dci is professional, on account you have to audition and all. and the drill and music is very hard, some only professionals can do. yes its agreed that DCI has high schoolers in it only cause the age is 14-21 the majority of that is highschooler's age. and i have seen texas groups. such as ronald regan. but nisihara has way less people thatn they do and sound a heck of a lot fuller.

  • No, DCI is not professional. The kids who take part in it PAY DUES to join the corps. The corps do not pay them.

Now the US Marine Drum and Bugle Corps is a very different story. THEY are professional.

You are also forgetting that if you took an ensemble of the size of Nishara out of the top students at Regan and put them in the same INDOOR acoustical environment and they would be just as full.

  • @mpmcd81 I totally agree. Excellence do exist all over the world and in every country and one should not discount or underestimate what is possible from one country to another.

  • the DM is cute
