I like times square the way it is but I guess since I don't live in New York, whatever. Its just I really enjoy crowds, not everyday but when I'm on vacation I enjoy them, we've got little cafe's and crap here in Chicago tell some of the people to come here if they want to sit outside, hell their still going to breath groos fucking air. Anyway stuid idea, I don't care how they change it the people will just replace the cars. It'll be streets of people more than usual...of course we want that!

I like Times Square the way it is, but I think this is a very good idea. There are times when it is just WAY too congested and it would be safer for everyone to get some of the cars out of 42nd-47th. More trees and benches in the city would be great! And widening 7th avenue is an awesome way to compensate. Thumbs up to Mr. Bloomberg! :)

I think its awesome. I do not think that traffic will get any better, because its New York and traffic will never get better in NY unless they start forcing people to give up cars in the city.
