  • Brings me back to my university days in the mid '90s...good times indeed. My friends and I used to blast this song in the car :)

  • 90s flavor. What happened to this band?

  • :55 The guy looks like he's jerking off

  • I was 4 when this came out and I liked it. The 90s rocked.

  • Can't....stop..listening...!

  • I was born in 1995, so I basically knew this song forever and it brings back so many childhood memories! <3

  • @Asthesunturnsoff if you knew this song forever, your parents are the coolest people on the effin planet!!!! you should be proud.

  • @MaeKadoodie222 I am proud too! :D

  • @Asthesunturnsoff born in 95? you still are a child lol

  • ruzerucetion Zombies O.o

  • this song is Serious!

  • I am totally a 90s hippie... I'm going to be like those old people who still talk about Woodstock, but I will be talking about Summersault and Edgefest and Snow Jam and stuff :P

  • Just another reason why Canada is better than the US

  • Damn...With the songs Push and Silver i almost forgot this....until i heard the first few notes of this song....and yes Djstocky the 90's did own.......NO NICKLEBACK back then!!!!!

  • hahah moist

  • just typed in "moist" for the hell of it.

  • @xOriginalxPx DITTO

  • OH MY GOSH! What a great fucking song. The first song I'm hearing from this band. This rocks! Can't find many songs as good as this today.

  • I'm digging all these young cats talking about how much they like rock from the 90s, it gives me faith in the younger generation that mainstream music could someday turn around and be listenable again. I am much too young to be an old man, shaking a cane at "young people music"

  • I love this Video.

  • I got the Creature album free about 12 years ago, and i was baffled. Why would they be giving away such a kick-ass album for free? Still love this song and listen to the album.

  • Lady Gaga has a penis

  • What the hell happened to music? Man I'm glad I was in high school in the 90's, this corporate produced shit we have to hear on the corporate fed radios is beyond no talent garbage.

  • music has really gone downhill these days, i haven't listened to much music in like 8 years cause its all just shit, and its not like there isn't good bands they are all just underground now.

  • @ganjaking187 I agree! I stopped watching Much Music after George Stroumboulopoulos left to join CBC because George was the host of MuchLoud back in the day.

  • I am 17 and i remember the video and the middle and end of the song, and with the years flying by i never knew the name or who made it. I heard it on radio (at 3:00 am in the morning or around that time) which made me want to find the song. I was on the computer emailing and i was listening to Push by Moist, i looked up the name, seen a image of the video and found it, i was and still am happy to hear this song again :)

  • @vincentt123 i had a similar experience. I'm now 18 and was going through my room to start getting ready for college, and I found a bunch of my old cd's i burnt when I was like 10-14. They had a bunch great 90's and early 2000's songs i totally forgot about once I stopped using cd's. I ripped all those songs onto my current computer and enjoy them daily. They include the Chili Peppers, Sloan, Bush, Collective Soul, Soundgarden, Creed, Econoline Crush, New Radicals, Oasis, Nirvana, Pearl Jam...

  • luv this song!

  • I am 16... and I wish I was around when music like this was the mainstream stuff, not the music we have today... I can't stand to listen to the radio because of the "modern" auto-tuned crap.

  • @xXNoSc0PedXx It was good back then :) We could listen to radio / TV for hours without changing the channel. I've just been to NYC and I had to switch from radio station to another every 2 songs because Keisha and shit like that were being constantly put on.

  • @REALNassshole Yeah no doubt!

yeah I do the same! I tell my Dad to change the station and a song that sounds exactly the same as the one before is playing! Ridiculous... I gotta say, you're lucky to have been around for that part of music history :)

  • @xXNoSc0PedXx you might like matthew goodband and bush as well

  • lol..what was it @ 3:07 3:08..the drummer was dancing? :D

  • This is really good, sorta reminds me of Age Of Electric who were also Canadian I think? Anyway I second anyone who said the 90s were a great time for rock (in North America at least...here in England we had an embarassing incident with something called Oasis)

  • Nice songs it reminds me the video clip far behind by candlebox.

  • such an underrated song.....love it !

  • Miss the 90's

  • david usher nice voice

  • perfection.

  • colonnel sanders at 3:32 ??

  • MOIST

  • All the narrow halls (rooms?) make me feel claustrophobic!

  • 90's Canadian Alternative rock at it's best.

  • 2 Dudes at 2:00 ?

  • @dakeli61 I think so. I must have watched this video 1000 times in the 90's and I never noticed. Very progressive for then.

  • Moist were awesome. Was supposed to see them live in 1996. It didn't work out and to this day, one of my biggest rock n roll let downs was not being able to see them. I'll remember them forever though. Peace

  • One of my fav songs as a kid

  • 90 owned. end of discussion! :)

  • @djstocky best times of my life was the 90s

  • Trying to find new bands to get into by the listing ofr alternative rock artists on wikipedia

    found this band

they sound to corporate rock whoreish

  • @YouFuckenConformists LMFAO... retarded statement... You have no idea about this band or music in general it seems. Their lyrics in their songs are about anything BUT supporting corporations... David Usher spent alot of time malaysia and Thaliand helping kids who live shitty lives beacause of the multinational corporations raping of third world countries. His mother is a freakin buddhist for fuck sakes.

  • this was back when music videos where creative and the music mattered !!!

i miss those days some times

  • fuck I miss the 90s... glad that theres still bands out there that stick to a style of good rock music.. not that fucking britpop... Viva Rock n roll

  • I've got balls of steel...

  • best canadian band of the 90s. right up there with OLP (who suck now!) and the matthew good band. if you grew up in canada & you didn't rock those bands in the 90s, you were living in a cave!

  • This song is great.

It remember me when i was 7 years old and my brothers were listening to it.

    Great memories.

There's no more good music like that now.

  • Totally agree man. I find more and more all this music I knew and loved as a kid that I'm finding again is Canadian. Feels awesome :]

  • It's not bad...go Canada XD!!!

  • music just isn't the same

  • ahh back when David Usher wasn't a complete moron before he destroyed his career by going solo with songs like "black, black heart" *sigh

  • that one song was pretty amazing though

  • @insanechimpanzee He started to release solo ablums while moist was still going. They made their third album together and when the tour for it couldnt be finished because of Paul Wilcox's back problem they died away...He didn't "Go Solo"....He didn't leave to make solo music is what im saying

  • Damn... kinda wierd but i heard this in custody..

I loved it as soon as i got out...

And now moist is one of my favorites! I love the voice in this and yeuh... GREAT SONG

ps im a good kid now LOL

  • i love the guitar in this song

  • @ChrisRafuse

Same. Its different and awsome at the same time!

  • 2 fags at 2:00

  • Good to know a fag like you pays attention to shit like that you flamer

  • David Usher got greedy, that's why this band doesn't exist anymore.

  • @motrinDeadly well jews have a tendency to act greedy

  • David Usher was hot back then.

  • @Jadeonna he still is:)

  • I miss this band =P

  • awesome tune

  • a music store dumbshit

  • Nowhere seems to have it....maybe becuase I live in the U.S.

  • yeah

  • think the album is called creature

  • i agree.really intense this vid

  • 90's music was the best since the mid 60's to id 70's

  • Probably the Best Music Video I have seen from the last twenty years.

  • classic song.

    miss the 90's :(

  • Awesome song and vid.. tho the video kinda gives me the creeps.. must be the enclosed spaces -_-;;

  • wow ive been trying to wonder which band sang this song for so long until i saw it on a much retro prieview...i rember seeing the video of this song way back when

  • hey kids, everyones a tuff guy in this forum.....relax:)

  • i remember being 14 just rockin out to moist in my friends room with a couple of brooms as guitars day after day, sounds stupid as shit, but now im rock and roll

  • I love love love love this song. I kind of heard about Moist, by listening to David Usher's solo stuff xD

    *has CDs from both*

  • i only liked david usher when he was in moist... his solo stuff kinda sucked... like moist has good hits... 'Leave it Alone' has to be my favorite one...

  • Fuck I'll never understand how this band wasn't HUGELY successful. Back in the day when I was a teen, I didn't know any better and actually thought they WERE pretty big but I guess only in Canada. Such a shame, man, really.

    KILLER song right here.

  • im 13 and i heard this song on the tv and i realy liike it haha

  • see... fucking chill out... get some anger managerment... you truly are a waste of skin

  • wow, way to use an insult based on one you just got burnt with... pat yourself on the back

  • don't worry about him hes jsut trolling

  • @finnsia can you guys go comment like 9 yr olds somewhere else.. its not right to put comments like that on such a great song >:(

  • @sophiehottie Can you write properly? And abuse the language like a nine year old?

  • @sophiehottie And the fact that you like it doesn't make it great. Everyone likes Lady Gaga but that doesn't mean that she makes great music. This song is really catchy however so is a lot of music that's popular that comes and dies.

  • @finnsia I fuckin' hate Lady Gaga! Oh and I'm quite capable of using correct grammar and punctuation; however, I assumed it wasn't necessary considering it's just Youtube. Why am I even wasting my time - trying to get my point across to such an impertinent being.

  • @sophiehottie It's good to know you use the thesaurus once in a while.

  • @sophiehottie And when I say everyone, I mean that it's popular. I didn't mean "everyone" literally.

  • @finnsia i just learned that word (evil genius) from a novel my english class is studying. And the only reason im being so sporadic is cause you directly attacked me, while i just told you guys to stfu with ur gayass fucking comments

  • @sophiehottie You really did seem mature until you wrote "gayass" and "stfu"

    homosexual buttocks?

  • @finnsia good for you, is that your opinion?? haha

  • @sophiehottie Yes since you clearly stated in the past several messages how you were trying your best to write properly. You clearly looked in the thesaurus too often. And when you decided not to use it, you end up using words like gayass and stfu. Grow up childish troll.

  • @finnsia i didn't use the thesaurus, but im guessing you had to look up some words. You're dishing out lines like "grow up" haha clever. Situational irony anyone?

  • holy shit i just said i like the song you physco so chill asshole... i agree you do need anger managment

  • still love this song

  • Hahaha I remember "Le Beat Molson Dry"! It was a long time ago ...

  • Haha

now i remember why I had a crush on him when I was a kid!

    Haha.

This came out what, like 12 years ago? ahh

  • Moist... more like... MCGROIST!!! HEH HEH HEH HEH!!!!

  • what's the first song before Moist?

  • The end of the clip of Unbreak my Heart by Tony Braxton. A live version.

  • Thank U!

  • @Resistancia Good eye.

  • @JeffCyr1990 Moist is the name of the band not the song

  • What's the sog before that song?

  • I first heard this song on the radio when it was released in 96' or 97' and it blew me away. Great power and emotion. I immediately bought the CD and what a great one it was. This, along with Ophelia, is amazing. I really thought they were going to be big.

  • this whole album was great !!!!!! DAVID WHAT HAPPEND TO THE MUSIC ????

  • >>Featuring Traci Lords :P

  • One of the best songs of 90's rock! Love it!

  • david usher got boo'd off stage in north bay ontario cause he said he was so high he could kill himself... lol... old moist kicks ass!

  • haha..I think I was there he came out on stage "Im so fuckin high..."

    I walked away

  • yeah. i pretty much took the walk when i found out who was playing... haha

  • well then you missed out on a great show.

  • He played a great concert tho, that was 6 years ago now.

  • Wow, I can't believe he actually did that.

  • >> great song

  • i totally remember this video...one of moist's best, this and push are great. Best video though

  • forgot about this one....haven't heard it in years. Thanks.

  • THis brings back a lot of memories of late 96 early 97 for me, im watching this video after 11 years

  • My first CD too. Theme From Cola is one of the best songs off that CD along with this one.

  • This song rocks! I seen a moist concert back in the 90s totally awesome!

  • This was the first cd I ever bought, and it is still one of my favorites

  • omg. this song and this video remind me of when it came out when i was like in grade 6 or 7. omfg. loooooooved moist then love them now. :)

  • Today i buy a album from David Usher, i didn't know he was a memeber of Moist, i was curious and i see it, i was in shock and now i know something i didn't know

  • is that Shirley Manson at 3:30 in this video?

  • i was 9... loved it

  • Good song

  • Moist was such a good band. Anyone have a video (not sure if one was ever made) for Ophelia? Please post!

  • been trying to find it .i dont think it has one

  • moistboyz ROCK

  • i was like 4 in '96 love the song

  • I first heard this song when it first came out in '96. (i was like 6) but damn i never did forget this song from my childhood. And to be honest alotta the music nowadays is pretty shitty. I feel old

  • LMAO!!! 18 and you feel old huh?!?! I was in college when this came out. Talking about feeling old.... =\

Good tune, good times, miss the band.

  • absolutely!!!

  • really? I was 22! I feel old lol. Great song tho =) and you're right, a lot of the music today is pretty shitty.

  • The hot girl is from the band Garbage!

  • awsome :)

  • love this song! A really obscure song, but i remember it well..great

  • this song is the shit, i remeber this song when i was 13, its bring back alot of old memories

  • You sing false dude :S maby you can hold the tone.. but not sing the right ones to make the magic happend =(

  • Wow, I loved this song for such a long time... And didn't even know it was done by Moist/David Usher... So happy to have found it! =D

  • I am pleased to see that Sook Yin Lee is NOT in any of your videos.

    Thank goodness!! Pretentiousness lost.

  • I miss the angsty David Usher. He's gone pop now, it's a shame. And hells yes, 90s music.

  • I miss the 90s. A lot of music nowadays sucks. I used to listen to the radio and like most of the songs but now I like maybe one out of every 15 or 20 songs...that is if they don't replay the same song a couple times. What happened? :(

  • I totaly agree.. and it seems like everything is made by computer.. and thats not cool at all.

  • Oh and thank you for posting. David is at his sexiest in this video. *lick*

  • Hehe, Tangerine is also a strong contender. He's so damn pretty it's absurd. I just want to eat his hair and face.

  • 1996... oh, i'm old :( Fuck.

  • <3 Moist, wish they would get back together and tour.. David Usher rocks

  • "We are the less than mighty"

Best part of the song. I get shivers everytime...

  • It is beautiful. I love how sick the lyrics, haha. The way he could make ugliness beautiful..as others here are saying..what the fuck happened? His new songs do nothing to stimulate me whatsoever. :(

  • This is a great song, although i live in the UK i had never heard of the band and heard this song from the wrestling with shadows soundtrack. great tune.

  • OMG that is hilarious Necro and Celidor, it does the same for me! I wonder how that is.

  • "I will COntrol" with the lead at the end gives me goosebumbs every time I hear it.

  • me too

  • Stuff like this, especially that part, makes me feel alive, lame as that may sound. It's very consuming.

  • i agree, i donno why, but I feel the same

  • what a great song. i was in gr7 when this first aired. too bad nobodys got the video for Leave it Alone Tonight, another great song by moist

  • Lol, what is he doing at 1min45?
