I am totally a 90s hippie... I'm going to be like those old people who still talk about Woodstock, but I will be talking about Summersault and Edgefest and Snow Jam and stuff :P
Damn...With the songs Push and Silver i almost forgot this....until i heard the first few notes of this song....and yes Djstocky the 90's did own.......NO NICKLEBACK back then!!!!!
I'm digging all these young cats talking about how much they like rock from the 90s, it gives me faith in the younger generation that mainstream music could someday turn around and be listenable again. I am much too young to be an old man, shaking a cane at "young people music"
I got the Creature album free about 12 years ago, and i was baffled. Why would they be giving away such a kick-ass album for free? Still love this song and listen to the album.
What the hell happened to music? Man I'm glad I was in high school in the 90's, this corporate produced shit we have to hear on the corporate fed radios is beyond no talent garbage.
music has really gone downhill these days, i haven't listened to much music in like 8 years cause its all just shit, and its not like there isn't good bands they are all just underground now.
@ganjaking187 I agree! I stopped watching Much Music after George Stroumboulopoulos left to join CBC because George was the host of MuchLoud back in the day.
I am 17 and i remember the video and the middle and end of the song, and with the years flying by i never knew the name or who made it. I heard it on radio (at 3:00 am in the morning or around that time) which made me want to find the song. I was on the computer emailing and i was listening to Push by Moist, i looked up the name, seen a image of the video and found it, i was and still am happy to hear this song again :)
@vincentt123 i had a similar experience. I'm now 18 and was going through my room to start getting ready for college, and I found a bunch of my old cd's i burnt when I was like 10-14. They had a bunch great 90's and early 2000's songs i totally forgot about once I stopped using cd's. I ripped all those songs onto my current computer and enjoy them daily. They include the Chili Peppers, Sloan, Bush, Collective Soul, Soundgarden, Creed, Econoline Crush, New Radicals, Oasis, Nirvana, Pearl Jam...
I am 16... and I wish I was around when music like this was the mainstream stuff, not the music we have today... I can't stand to listen to the radio because of the "modern" auto-tuned crap.
@xXNoSc0PedXx It was good back then :) We could listen to radio / TV for hours without changing the channel. I've just been to NYC and I had to switch from radio station to another every 2 songs because Keisha and shit like that were being constantly put on.
yeah I do the same! I tell my Dad to change the station and a song that sounds exactly the same as the one before is playing! Ridiculous... I gotta say, you're lucky to have been around for that part of music history :)
This is really good, sorta reminds me of Age Of Electric who were also Canadian I think? Anyway I second anyone who said the 90s were a great time for rock (in North America at least...here in England we had an embarassing incident with something called Oasis)
Moist were awesome. Was supposed to see them live in 1996. It didn't work out and to this day, one of my biggest rock n roll let downs was not being able to see them. I'll remember them forever though. Peace
@YouFuckenConformists LMFAO... retarded statement... You have no idea about this band or music in general it seems. Their lyrics in their songs are about anything BUT supporting corporations... David Usher spent alot of time malaysia and Thaliand helping kids who live shitty lives beacause of the multinational corporations raping of third world countries. His mother is a freakin buddhist for fuck sakes.

@insanechimpanzee He started to release solo ablums while moist was still going. They made their third album together and when the tour for it couldnt be finished because of Paul Wilcox's back problem they died away...He didn't "Go Solo"....He didn't leave to make solo music is what im saying
wow ive been trying to wonder which band sang this song for so long until i saw it on a much retro prieview...i rember seeing the video of this song way back when
i remember being 14 just rockin out to moist in my friends room with a couple of brooms as guitars day after day, sounds stupid as shit, but now im rock and roll

Fuck I'll never understand how this band wasn't HUGELY successful. Back in the day when I was a teen, I didn't know any better and actually thought they WERE pretty big but I guess only in Canada. Such a shame, man, really.
@sophiehottie And the fact that you like it doesn't make it great. Everyone likes Lady Gaga but that doesn't mean that she makes great music. This song is really catchy however so is a lot of music that's popular that comes and dies.

It is beautiful. I love how sick the lyrics, haha. The way he could make ugliness beautiful..as others here are saying..what the fuck happened? His new songs do nothing to stimulate me whatsoever. :(
This is a great song, although i live in the UK i had never heard of the band and heard this song from the wrestling with shadows soundtrack. great tune.
Brings me back to my university days in the mid '90s...good times indeed. My friends and I used to blast this song in the car :)

It is beautiful. I love how sick the lyrics, haha. The way he could make ugliness beautiful..as others here are saying..what the fuck happened? His new songs do nothing to stimulate me whatsoever. :(

Stuff like this, especially that part, makes me feel alive, lame as that may sound. It's very consuming.
