I have spent a lot of time watching clips from different sources of media without listening to opinion from other people. I don't like other people to tell me what to trust, what not to trust or what to think. My conclusion so far is that the clashes started from a third party, snipers. Without knowing this, the protester would think they were from the soldiers and the soldiers would think they were from the protestors
Then, we had war between two innocent groups. *The following is my theory*. This operation was organised by somebody that would gain from this situation. Not the ordinary soldier and the ordinary red shirt protester would kill each other just to accuse the government because they know accusation against the government would not be heard, seen or appear in Thai media.
The last is the government in a bid to disperse the mob without the obvious link to the government and to accuse the protesters who created the violence. I find this reporter/journalist to be pretty neutral when it comes to "sides". Last video he says he doesn't know who fired first, and believes the gov troops are firing into the air - he could have easily told us the troops were shooting people. Also, he says at least the red shirt carried wounded/dead from both sides to the ambulance quickly. In this video he says "I'm sure the red shirts would like you to believe it's live ammo (not rubber bullets) -
those statements indicate neutrality.

I have spent a lot of time watching clips from different sources of media without listening to opinion from other people. I don't like other people to tell me what to trust, what not to trust or what to think. My conclusion so far is that the clashes started from a third party, snipers. Without knowing this, the protester would think they were from the soldiers and the soldiers would think they were from the protestors

Do not trust in this video clip. This foreign guy don't know anything about this conflict. He can't give you all the right comment. Why no any single red shirt was shot on this VDO and why some soldiers were shot. In fact, Thai soldiers have real bullets but they just shoot in the sky, not direct to red shirt. Even a man show bullet miss him, but this means it was not shot directly to him; it reflect from somwhere only. There are weapons among the red shirts, they are armed.

Depend on my experience working w/ RTA for such a long time.The light of the barrel was from live firing only(impossible being the rubber round or Blank round)but the flash suppressor absorbed the light so it's not easy to detact.

I don't see the clear proof of army opened fire to the red shirt. Much more people would be dead from the numbers of gun short that I hear in your video if they had used real bullets point at the red shirt. The government has claimed that they only fired the real bullets in the air, which is correctly explain why the army was lost to the red shirt with granade.
