Fluffing a product is how value is created. This is nothing new. Lets not forget, he didn't make zit cream to cure peoples acne, he made zit cream to make money. There is no other point in being in business. Anything that helps to sell the product is fair game( besides misrepresentation) that's why "buyer beware" is the law, fools and their money are soon parted. I believe that if you are dumb enough to be suckerd by slick ads, you are probably going to learn nothing from the experience.

I like the analogy. He might be somewhat of a parasite, but if people are smart, the value of that product will drop to whatever it is. If the cream actually does work to a degree, he is still providing some kind of value, even though its advertised value is overstated.
