My bad. I clearly had no idea that chiz was going to be allowed to pay for players at Auburn. Oh well, in a few years we'll be able to look back on the 2010-11 season and realize that it never really happened. I'm also sure that being able to pay coordinators head coaching salaries had no effect on this what-so-ever. All hail the chiz!

So therefore, Auburn did save Chizik. and as far as the program finding no success under a new coach. that's going to happen anywhere you have a coaching turnover, unless the talent that was there before was unreal. Making a bowl game doesnt make you talented. It means you know and understand your system well enough to execute and win a few ball games.

7-3, when overall he was 7-7 against Alabama (dating back to Ole Miss)? Low and behold he beats us during a time of which ALL of our rivals were beating us as well (and Northern Illinois, UCF, Mississippi State, and ULM). And of course, he only done so by an average of 7 points or less. Had Tommy stuck around 36-0 would be something he would've grown accustomed to. It's easy to beat a team when their down, then lose during the first year they restore order.

Yeah, I'd hate to attend school in Iowa, providing the average education level that citizens reach north of the Mason-Dixon line is around 8th grade. Fortune 500 companies only choose Auburn graduates because they "can't read." Makes alot of sense.
