  • @Frogal00n where do you feel the cramp? Sometimes it happens to me in the stomach just below the ribs. If its in the lower region perhaps it could be because you are pressing down on those gas bubbles in the intestines xD

  • @TuberAber The cramp feels like it's on the outskirts my stomach, it goes from a few inches above my hips to my ribcage. So i'm guessing i'm activating my transverse abdominis, maybe just "sucking/pulling" a bit too hard. It's not painful just figured it could be an indication if I'm doing it right/wrong. Thanks for the vid anyway!

  • @Frogal00n For the most part though it shouldn't really hurt all that much if any. Don't quote me on that though, everyone is different

  • @MrArbitrager &@grim123567 u know how u bend down and u see u stomach roleish well but it to the belly button and pull it hurts and cant push far put hold it for 10 sec and for 10-15 times and in 2-3 weeks TA DA well hopefully and merry Christmas everyone :)

  • @EvilTeddyy you know, I am not sure, I do know however, learning this is good for you stomach muscles and having good stomach muscles is good for your back, because then you will use those more than your back muscles. It also helps me digest food quicker :P

  • @TuberAber and @EvilTeddyy No, these do not make you lose fat on your belly. spot reduction is a myth (unless you get lypo). There are ways to lose stubborn belly fat, but the only come into play once that belly fat is about all you have left to lose--stubborn belly fat is stubborn for various reasons.

    Vacuums will help to pull your stomach in, giving it a flatter look, but they do nothing to target the fat. Visually, it would be like walking around all day with your tummy sucked in a bit.

  • @TheShineNSB Well fat never goes away unless like you said you get lypo. But what does happen is those fat cells get smaller, but once you get a fat cell they never go away.

  • @EvilTeddyy No this wont burn fat, this will build abdominal muscle whitout overworking your leg flexor witch can cause a pelvic tilt. If u want to burn fat do cardio and eat healty and dont over eat.

  • No, it doesn't it's good for having a flat stomach, it's really important though, look at the difference between nowadays bodybuilders and the one in the 80-90s => The last ones have great abs

  • Kinda, but not really. What it does is cut off inches on your waist so the muscle underneath is more pronounced. You should already have a body mass index of no more than 15% when you start this. While these are very effectiive and do work your muscles a little, don't only do these.

  • hey tuberaber, no offence but i was freaked out when i saw this at first lol...ummm anyway im quiet keen to try it, read up on the net too just wondering...do you have have to "very slim" to do this? i usually have a bit of bloating around my stomach, even though i do heaps of ab training..

  • no i don't believe you need to be very slim to be able to do it :) depending on your size though i think that will depend on how much definition you see (meaning how far your stomach goes back)

  • The main point in them is to strengthen the inner abdominals which hold your guts in so if you've got a bit of a belly, they can make your waist flatter. But they can also help core stability, posture etc and as TuberAber said, they aid digestion.

  • i have been able to do this since i was a little kid. But how is this training for your abdominals? I dont feel the "burn" in the muscles as when i train crunches. should I be able to breath while doing this?

  • no you only hold a tad bit of air in your lungs, if you breath normally you will lose the effect, because if your lungs start to get air into them again, your stomach will move

    Thank you for posting instructions on how to do nauli. I've discovered stomach vacuum myself when I was very young and always thought it is sexy. But I've always wondered how nauli works!
