I have done this mission about 8 times and the closest I have ever gotten to completing it is 2:44 and 0% car damage. Are there any helpful tips someone could give me to achieving 100%?

if on pc, put vehicle density to 0. Apart from that I really doubt there is anything, practice driving for fun (you won't learn much if you are not having fun) and try control your turns. You will get it.

one more thing (just to be sure), you do know that you don't have to get both achievements at the same time right? Because if you only want 100% on the mission, you could simply get 0% car damage using years of time, and then go for time achievement in next go.

I have tried to get the time and damage in different runs but when I try to get the time and get like 40% damage the time is like 10 seconds longer than I recorded on a stopwatch its driving me crazy. Does the damage add to the time? Thanks

Pistol is good for single shot accuracy. And when every shot counts you'll never accidentally shoot more than one extra round. He'll accidentally shoot twice sometimes.

When I first did this mission, I still sucked at driving. I was getting used to then controls. By the time I made it to the interwebz place, my car was on fire at full speed. When I jumped out it exploded, and I was blasted into the wall on the store, but stilled completed the mission. the stats said the car damage was 100%.
