  • nice one

  • i bought cocomotion today because of your video :]

  • yeah they have cocomotion i bought it today

  • do they still make cocomotion?

  • i don't think they do anymore. it was from a collection back in the day.

  • it was discontinued but they are bringing it back with the Makeup Art Cosmetics collection :D thank goodness :) but you can find it at CCO already if you have one near your house.

  • they have it now with the new limited edition collection. i just bought it.

  • they do have it still its part of there permenent collection!

  • Its being re-promoted NOW!

    with the new collection :)

  • It was actually just re-released, it's a really beautiful color.

  • they have it out now with the artist's pigment collection

  • yep they do-i just got it a about 2 weeks ago from a mac counter in nyc @ macys

  • gorgeous!

  • love it!

  • love your vids! =] x3

  • your sooo pretty(:

  • do your eyebrows girl! it'll really finish off the look

  • XD i was planning on getting soft ochre paint pot tomorrow... looks like i have to pick up cocomotion too. XD lol.

  • Omgg !! This color is amazing!!

I need to get some !! thank you sooooo much for posting this !

  • thanks!!!

  • what do you use to get wet the brush? thanks

  • you're skin is very pretty I can't understand why do you use sooo much foundation???

    good tutorials

  • hahah yeah good point?!?!!?never thought of it but i understand;]

  • That pigment is gorgeous, I'll definitely be getting it. Thanks!

  • i jusy bought the smashbox photofinish primer and i really ike it, can i also use it as a primer on my eyes or do i need a seperate primer for that, i also saw a video where a girl used chapstick as a primer, have you ever tried that?

  • you look so pretty..i think it depends on the persons face features you have nice eyes and a good face ..makeup looks good on you..sorry but, most people cant pull this off..lol

  • she is a great makeup artist but i think she needs to color her eyebrows because they are way too thin

  • where did u learn al this!!! I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW U LEARNED SOOOO MUCH ABOUT MAKEUP

  • being interested in make up doesnt mean that we doesnt have life or stupid... what's wrong with make up? i think it's another world of art! dont condemn ladies for being addicted to make up!

  • it's so weird that some thin the ppl making or watching these vids are brainless morons whose entire lives are make-up.why can't you get the fact that one can both read books and be interested in make-up into your little heads?

  • i finally found a pigment close to this cocomotion colour. it's from BYS though. it's the australian version of NYX (we don't have NYX here neither). =(

  • one question. I noticed you "tugged" at the skin around your eyes when you applied the liquid eyeliner. I do this too, but I heard it's bad because it causes loosening of the skin and eventually wrinkles. what is your opinion on this? :/

  • i just went to mac(USA) website and i saw the pigments are sold in like 50 shades!!! here in downunder we only have it in 3 shades =(

  • I obviously need to get that pigment (or... one that's similar) :D

Love your videos btw. Especially the skincare ones? My skin seems to act similarly to yours (normal cheeks and semi-oily t-zone that becomes more oily during the summer) - so I'm excited to try out the clinique-stuff you mentioned. (Been trying out a lot of stuff, and few of them seem to really work..)

Anyway - hope to see MANYMANY more videos in the future :)

  • what kind of brushes do you use for this?

  • she has a video showing all the brushes she uses!

  • Great video, you're really good. lol at when you spoke on the phone. I tried on the dallas blush today and now i think i'm going to buy it, well worth the investment.

  • First time commenter, love this look - one colour, but it still makes your eyes pop, and you're right about how that colour has different layers... I need to find it! :)

  • Wow, you are such a beautiful girl!!! Love the look too!!! The only lack for me, was that you didn't line your brows but it's not that necessary - it just completes the look. But really good job, I'm definately gonna use this :)

  • very nice!!!!

  • hi stephie! what did you use to wet your eye shadow brush before picking up the pigments??

    you're so pretty !

  • she used fix + i believe. i use it as well and it helps adhere the pigment onto your eyelids =)

  • The description says "MAC Youth Aura Charged Water (to wet my brush b4 applying Cocomotion)"

  • i tried this, and i still didn't get that gradiant effect like the picture in the end

  • You are sooooo pretty!!

  • haha i love the lil phone convo part.. lol!! keep up the hard work! :)

  • but anyways, it looks nice!

  • I see that on your eyes right now?

  • Is there another Pigment you recommend thats good by itself also?

  • off the radar!!! its a gorgeous orange :) i don't really own many pigments, so out of the ones i've got, those two are my fave.

  • do u really need to rubenesque paint pot as a base?or can u use another paint color that is natural?or does the rubenesque give it more color?

  • rubenesque doesn't add any color, it has a slight shimmer but thats the same with other mac paints. any base is good really :)

  • this is soo pretty for one simple eyeshadow! good job!!!

  • thank you :)

  • hmmm , so are we suppose to like wait for the pigment to dry b4 curling the lashes ? what colour do u recommend 2 ppl wif asian eye ( no crease , not so big eye )

  • hi steph, funny how u were on th phone durin that tut :) i guess its cheating callin it a single colour cos the rubenesque is like the lighter shade- cos thats not neutral colour right? love it tho... also love all ur lip colours- esp the pink mattene ones and the pucker tendertone! i missed em here in london. dang limited editions!!

  • What brush do you use for the pigment application?

  • 239 i believe

  • Is Cocomotion your favorite pigment out of ALL of your pigments?

    Haha, I'm just curious.

    Thanks,

    J!

  • it is. i don't really own too many pigments though.

  • I love the look! your hair is awesome too. Is it the wet poof you have done before?

  • yes, it's just dried in the morning and i put it up in a bun.

  • okay thanks.

  • u should do more looks using fewer eyeshadows! =]

  • i think i should too! lol but i have so many, it's a waste to NOT use them hehehe

  • One more thing to add to the must have list, it really does look like you have on 2 eyeshadows. This is gorgeous. Thanks

  • woah! i really love this look

i love cocomotion, when its applied wet, its like theres two eyeshadows on! =]

  • i know! i love it's versatility! that's how ALL makeup should be :D

  • hey umm have u ever tried bare minerals? if so watcha think bout it lik was it any gud or is MAC foundation better?..

  • i haven't tried any mineral makeup... i heard in the mac grapevine that they will be releasing their own mineral makeup. if so, i'll be getting macs!

  • hey. great job. what brush do you use for the fluidline? I would like to try it, and need to know the right brush to get with it.

  • she's using the 266 SE brush from MAC

  • she's using the 266 SE brush from MAC

  • That is beautiful. I have been looking for a one eyeshadow video.

  • ur the best

    i love this look

    ur so sweet

  • You're really really really PRETTY & SWEET. I love your videos. : )

  • aww thanks love :) you're a sweet person too! have a great week!

  • hello! i just wanna say i love all your tutorials! you're beautiful.

quick question: is there only one color of MAC Astral Rays inOrange Twink? that's the only one i found at mac website.. otherwise, what color did you use? thanks..

  • astral rays is a shade of glimmershimmer from mac :) that's the color i used.... mine is more of a golden beige color. perhaps you can look into lorac's luminizer. i used that before i used mac's glimmershimmer.

  • I love this look!!! Now, do you think Blacktrack fluidliner is good for contact wearer? I am a contact wear and I often use eyedrops. Thanks for this wonderful tut!

  • i think it should be fine for contact wearers. as long as you don't rub your eyes often or rub it if some eyedrops get on your eyelid (dab it lightly) it should work great for you :)

  • Careful hun, too much tugging on lid could lead to wrinkles! Try using your ring finger, its gentler than your pointer. Better yet, use your pinky! =)

  • thanks for the tip :) i've been told that a lot, & it's such a bad habit of mine to break. i think i've stopped doing it as much as i used to.

  • in your desciption box it says that you use the mac astral rays charged water to wet your brush..is that another kind of charged water? I thought there were only three

  • oh my bad :) i meant youth aura.... i fixed it :)

  • thnx Stephie!! now i look like a girl..

J/K.. yea i was looking for the apologize music and i saw like wtf, this aint it.

but yea.. nice instructions.. ur cute =)

thats the only reason y i watched this =p

  • Hello!

    Great job:)))

Stephie, can You tell me what kind of model of a pc/video camera are U using for recording videos?

There are pretty good quality. Is it a webcam or DV camera? what is the model name, resolution that are You using?

And may You tell what kind of video commpresion (codec) is used? (QT/mov, DivX, XviD, MPEG4, other)?

    Greets =)

  • i use my sony dsc-w70 digital camera. umm... i think it's mpeg... i'm not really sure with all the names of it and all :)

  • Thanks Stephie ! I actually spent over 200 a few days ago on MAC ! haha i got the face brush set foundation some brushes lip stick eye shadows and whatnot ! your my inspiration ! I LOVE IT ! you have turn me into a machaholic dear !=D

  • glad i could help hehehehe :P have fun with your new goodies! and send me pics sometime if you could to my email! i'd love to see what you make out of the products you have :)

  • Hey Stephie ! I was wondering which brushes you use to apply paint pot and the pigment ? i see you use two different ones lol I think the first one is 249 ?

  • for paint pots and paints (or even fluidlines which i use as a base once in a while) i use the 242 brush, then to apply pigments i use my 239. my 239 though i pretty much use for any type of eye shadow placement :)

  • Merci beaucoup pour ces superbes tutos !!!

  • je vous en prie! :) (i hope that made sense!)

  • hi stephie! what mac select tint do you use?? you're skin color looks like mine and i use mac nc35 foundations. i've been wanting to order the select tint but, the mac website only has it in nc30 or nc40... not sure if they even make it in nc35! you're sooo good w/ makeup, girl! keep up the wonderful work!

  • because select tints are so sheer, i went up to nc40 even though i usually wear nc30-35. maybe you can try the two out at the mac store.

  • hey Stephie, but...you're a make.up artist or something like that? :) You're really good!!

  • i'm not a pro makeup artist... i started using shadows in may 2007 & have freelanced when i have the chance :)

  • I went to Macy's after I watched this video to ask if they had Cocomotion, but they didn't. The MA called around and she found one location that had it and she put it on hold for me. This will be my first pigment purchase! Thanks again!

  • Hi stephie,

i just got the udpp. what's the diff between that and the beiging shadestick? when do you use them?

  • udpp goes on sort of clear & matte while beige-ing has shimmer to it. i usually use udpp for my all over base up to my brows, then i will apply a colored base up to my crease for the shadows & i notice that the shadows last even longer & they are more vibrant.

  • thank you.

  • : )

  • very pretty =]

  • is fluidline good for the water line? and is it easy to apply? i have trouble with cream and liquid liners. and it smudges like crazy all the time. advice would be great thanks.

  • for me, fluidline doesn't stay on my waterline for long. probably lasts for less than an hour, but that may be my eye shape. a MAC artist told me that Technakohl Liners as well as Eye Kohls & the new Kohl Powers (which smudge like no bodies business!) are tested for the waterline. i use technakohl liners for the most part. hth! :)

  • cuteee

  • hey stephie,

i love all your video tuts and NO. I WILL NEVER be bored with your AMAZING tutorials.

I loveeee this one eyeshadow tut and PLEASE

keep this one eyeshadow tut coming...coz i am a beginner and am still a oneshadow kinda girl but i really like the smoking eyes quad too. What brush did you use for the e/s, shadestick and the blacktrack?

thanks. looking forward for more from you.

    get well soon.

  • i applied the paint pot with the 242 brush, the pigment with the 239 (my fave brush!), then lined my eyes with the 266 brush. i applied the shadestick straight from the tube, it's kind of like a pen in a way. hth!

  • Very pretty :)

  • YOU ARE SOOOO PRETTY. represent us asians man!!

  • I´ve seen you on specktra and loved all your FOTDs and Tutorials so far. You´re such a gorgeous girl and I like that you did a one eyeshadow tutorial cause that´s what I do for a day look

  • Very pretty eye!!!

  • very pretty, stephie!

  • that's what i'm talkin about . pretty and simple =)

  • Was that mixing medium you used to wet your brush - right before applying Cocomotion?

  • i don't have any mixing medium yet, i keep planning on getting it but always forget when i get to the MAC store. i just spritzed a little bit of my charged water on my brush :)

  • Wow cocomotion looks really good. Great video!

  • great look. the pigment is really pretty, and when i first saw your makeup at the start of the video it did look like a lot of different colors blended together. you are really beautiful, and you really know how to pick colors that work well with your skin tone, eye/hair color. can't wait to see more. :)

  • This is such a pretty look that you created! Is there a MAC eyeshadow that you can use instead of this pigment? Thanks so much!

  • i know techtonic (sp?) mineralized eyeshadow looks like this, which is why i passed on it. it's from the flashtronic collection so it may not be available. i'm not sure about the permanent colors though, i'll have to check that out when i go to the store for mattene & i'll let you know!

  • you just sold me on Cocomotion.

  • omg that is my favorite pigment of all time!! but omg i had to return it... =/ my dad says the glitter from it can get in ur eyes. but lyk that xsparkage girl puts actual glitter on her eyelashes and she doesnt get it in her eyes ='(. i should have been lyk ohh i lost it.. lol so then i could still use it ughh. too bad it was a limited edition

  • I really like this look and it looks great even with one color. =] And I love the song Apologize by One Republic =D

  • I work for MAC and love that you made me love Cocomotion! Before the vid it wasn't something I played with a lot. You do really good make-up! One thing though is that Powerpoint liner is not a khol, so it isn't good to use on the waterline. Keep up the great work. My new obsession is watching all these make-up tutorials.

  • thank you! a MAC artist once told me using powerpoints as well as technakohl & eye kohls were fine.... whoa i got the wrong info! thank you for filling me in on it! :)

  • i love this look.

i really envy your complexion and select tint looks great on you. i want to try it but worried that it might be too sheer. :-))

  • Hey beautiful :) This looks like the Moonbathe tut you recently did, but this one is more of neutral, me likey! ;) My comment wouldn't show up in the other vid, don't know why! I also couldn't add it to the ABB stream room :(

  • it may be because i don't allow embedding on my vids. i'll fix that :)
