Why do other countries have electric powered trains everywhere but US only has them between Boston and Washington and in NJ, Philly, Washington DC and Chicago? Most other Amtrak and commuter trains are diesel.

can never imagine such great service like high speed, Tv car, double decker and cross seats on Kantou railway companies......
I wanna ride on Hanshin, Hankyuu and Keihan limited express trains.
