i admitted tht he's good at stones but watch zydrunas savickas at IFSA 2006 atlas stones he managed to lift all stones in just 23 seconds and the stones weiged 130kg to 180kg.. not to frgt tht he owns mre thn 46 world record :p

Just in case anyone here are not well educated in atlas stones, Arild did likely the most impressive light stone series ever (for a light stone series...which is what WSM does). Seriously, physiologically, his bicep tendon attachments must be the world's best!

@Jur0 Not since Mariusz is taking a break. Skog isn't very good at any of the events and Arild just needs some more practice. I think Arild has only been in one WSM competition. With time and experience I could see Arild winning. The final event is always the stones and if all he had to do was win the stones to get the title it's pretty much a done deal.

arild was 1 of my favourite current strongmen who i was looking forward to seeing maybe 1 day take the title, shame he's retired and gone into boxing which he's doing quite well. i'll miss seeing him destroy everyone in the stones throw them up like they were beachballs. very powerful guy i wudnt want to get hit by him
