But scholars who are, point out some words that with different vowels and consonants (I know q for instance has dots, and if you leave one off, it becomes f) can have 30 meanings. And many words, even with perfect vocalization have 3 meanings. Like blood clot/clinging thing/leech. It's not "clear actually" if that's true. If not, you're calling a lot of Muslims liars.

Hi, thanks for your reply, the shroud has been examined a few times, they have actually done carbon testing on small pieces of it. Yes it would be good if they allowed the koran to be examined as we would know if it was Uthmans or from a later period.

Stop interpreting the verses in your own views. The verse at 8:39,9:29 is a narration and the war that Muhammad had with the Qurayshi Tribe who broke their treaty with Muslims and attacked them unlawfully therefore God sent down the verse and asked Muhammad to fight them back. The hadiths where Aisha herself says she was 6/9 are quite self explanatory, and she talks about her toys etc. The hadiths that muslims appeal to when they want to claim she was older never give the age of Aisha and dont come from Aisha. They say things like boys had to be 15 or older to fight in battles.

In regards to Mosaic laws, not all ordinances were permanent. Mosaic law consisted of ceremonial, civil and moral, some things werent meant to be changed and some like civil ordinances must necessarily change as circumstances do.

Actually this is NOT the OLDEST QURAN.. if it is dated to be 70 years after the death of the Prophet Mohammad. THIS info is incorrect.
The QURAN of UTHMAN c. 579 – 17 July 656.. which does have his BLOOD .. when he was assasinated.. on July 15 656 is still visible.. in TRUKEY..
UTHMANS QURAN would be MUCH older than these texts here..

@QuranVsHadith Okay, but looking at the Uthman koran, it ALSO lacks vocalization or dots. Which would lead to exactly the same ambiguous meaning of the text. It is not a solid book. It has many errors in it, though perhaps not AS many as gnostic christian texts, etc. Still, a very imperfect book which tries very hard to insist on its own perfection. Since it declares itself that any book that contains an error but claims to be a work of god must be false, it proves itself to be false.

@Enginmaster No, the dots are only vowels to aid in pronunciation. They did not add meaning. People in the past knew Arabic and did not need the dots because it was their native language.

@fandanstan I'm not an expert on Arabic. But scholars who are, point out some words that with different vowels and consonants (I know q for instance has dots, and if you leave one off, it becomes f) can have 30 meanings. And many words, even with perfect vocalization have 3 meanings. Like blood clot/clinging thing/leech. It's not "clear actually" if that's true. If not, you're calling a lot of Muslims liars.

@Thunkful2 I mean, there are more errors in the gnostic church's texts which mostly ended up in the apocrypha, because they referenced babylonian mother goddesses, non-misogynist themes, etc. Not all the ancient churches were gnostic, no. It was a specific spiritual movement within the religion.

All religions are the same mistaken type of belief, yes. There's nothing more right about one than another. Only things more wrong or less wrong. The right beliefs are given by study and experiment, not by waiting for a dude to come around saying he talked to his imaginary friend.

In fact it seems (from the writing that may be seen) that it may be from the 8th century or about 150 years after the death of muhammad. Muslims wont ALLOW it to be examined. Why?

Hi, thanks for your reply, the shroud has been examined a few times, they have actually done carbon testing on small pieces of it. Yes it would be good if they allowed the koran to be examined as we would know if it was Uthmans or from a later period.

Algeria is noted since the roman days to have very fertile land and was a farmers paradise. Well, Muhammad was a warrior, a soldier, a hero but Jesus was only sent to fulfill the law of Moses, he wasn't a fighter. Stop interpreting the verses in your own views. The verse at 8:39,9:29 is a narration and the war that Muhammad had with the Qurayshi Tribe who broke their treaty with Muslims and attacked them unlawfully therefore God sent down the verse and asked Muhammad to fight them back. The hadiths where Aisha herself says she was 6/9 are quite self explanatory, and she talks about her toys etc. The hadiths that muslims appeal to when they want to claim she was older never give the age of Aisha and dont come from Aisha. They say things like boys had to be 15 or older to fight in battles.

In regards to Mosaic laws, not all ordinances were permanent. Mosaic law consisted of ceremonial, civil and moral, some things werent meant to be changed and some like civil ordinances must necessarily change as circumstances do.

The NT does not change slavery. It changes the occasional other thing, back and forth, like whether to do circumcision. But not slavery.

this is silly... the vowels (dots) were introduced for quran to be easily readable by foreign muslims (non-arabic) and saying that the texts were wiped out and rewritten is an argument of silence, because the qura'n was passed down through reciters and they would not have been very appreciative of the altered version. and something more obvious to add is, why'd they rewrite on the same parchment rather than use a new one? that really makes no sense.

@AriAni070 if the quran says there is ONE GOD how is that contradictory? how is ONE GOD wrong? how is ONE CREATOR wrong? that is the main teaching of the quran.how is ONE LORD wrong instead of 3 in one. quran makes sense to the common person.maybe your from mars.

Quran I sais contradicts itself when in one place it says the creation was made in 6 days and in another verse it says it took 8 days for the same god to do the same thing. You may be born anywhere to understand that 8 is not equal to 6. Likewise there are more contradictions.

Reading the comments only justifies the West's opinion of Muslim ignirance, bigotry & zealotry. these found errors suggested that Muhammad himself was illiterate and depended on ones reading from text to correct whether each recorded verse sounds wrong or right. the way how it written was unchecked by Muhammad. many who wrote quran at different times when verses were revealed thus many had different copies for themselves apart of whom Muhammad had dedicated the task to. certainly after Muhammad died, the different copies still remained but not all the same...why....
