TMG Productions supports the WGA Strike! Surprising? Yes. But I actually read up on it. Actors make $1000's for each episode, while writers surprisingly make very little, in fact not much more than your average joe or Tim. Most of the Hollywood writers have second jobs as like waiters or something. Its not right at all, but I do hope they resolve it soon.
I hate this stupid strike. My personal opinion is that the studios should just pay the writers what they want so they can settle this. I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want to be a director, writer, and producer, and I don't want this ridiculously pointless strike to ruin that.
Hey, David, watch out for that writer's union...they may try to convince you that you WON'T be writing anything for anybody! LOL I really won't care if the strike is prolonged..TV sucks anyhow..the downside is the spread of those reality shows that don't require scripts or thinking! Sarcasm is tough in written form..there's no facial expressions or tonal changes..just emoticons! :) Nice vid...hey..the Studebaker museum is in South Bend, how 'bout a trip there! :)
TV doesn't suck, I watch about 10 or more shows on TV a week! The strike also effect films as well. Also they expect actors around the country to also go on strike, and since this is in my interest field, I am really against it.
