@19Truth53 Very easy to tell.....this great airman came that same morning from a long transatlantic flight as captain of a MD-82....went home took off his uniform and went to the airport again to fly aerobatic due a Dutch Air Force celebration with thousands of spectators. And as an Aerobatic pilot you cannot sleep knowing that there is some big crowd that might watch your act. So with other words it was due "fatigue"....your body and brains functioning slower than normal.
Well, a "great" pilot would have known better than to do this, don't you think. I know LOTS of pilots who fly for the airlines, corporate, etc., who also fly aerobatics on the side. One of them is a champion Red Bull pylon racer. He would never risk his life by trying to do anything as demanding as aerobatics if he knew he was physically no up to his best. I'm sorry your dude crashed, but this is what separates the GOOD pilots from the GREAT pilots in my book.
