@TheDeadlyDelilah I saw her live back in 95 or 96 and she was brilliant. Exactly as good as she was on any vid or recording.

She did the whole album... In Fremantle at the Fly By Night club. I still remember how there was a mass surge towards the stage when she announced she wasn't wearing any panties... It was a great performance, just a pity she started 2 hours late.

YES i found it! i'll always remember max sharam performing on "search for the stars" (?) it was hosted by some lame-o like bert newton, he was used to these tap dancing 10 yr olds and pensioner folk singers and on comes max. in a green jumpsuit. with a huge peace sign round her neck and starts BELTING out this opera intro to 'coma' before flinging herself into the lyrics... my fucking eyes nearly fell out of my head with glee.. the judging panel didn't know what hit them. it was fucking awesome.

I think that are only two songs from the 90s that are worthwhile.

One is the Crash Test Dummies with "MMM MMM MMM MMM".

This song is the other one. Somebody's already written "True Art" - I couldn't agree more. For those who know the song well, have a look at the New Faces version of Coma, it's well worth it.
