1. Go to your start menu and type in "run" then click on it

2.When it saids what do you want to run type in cmd

3.When it opens up the application type in ipconfig and press enter

4. Your ip adress is the number after 1pv4 adress:

Every PC have ports from 0 to 65535.

You don't need to know port numbers unless you are hosting some services (or games).

@TheBopityBop Hello, go to start >control panel > network and sharing center > click change adapter settings on the left hand side > right click on your Local Area Network connection go to properties > scroll down to IPv4 and click properties/settings > and make sure it is set to find an IP address and DNS server "automatically" (DHCP)

@sexy658 Depends, he could hack you, steal your bank info, and rob you, or if it was your local network he needs to be in the vicinity of you, so if it was your local, your fine, your private is fine, but your public is connectable if you don't have certain restrictions on.
