I never felt anything like it. For the first time, I was proud to let everyone know "I AM CANADIAN!" because if our Olympians could, I can too!

I truly knew what it meant to believe when I cheered and hoped for our Olympians. I never let myself do that before.

I can't wait to do it again!

Well said, Stephen Brunt! Everytime I watch this, I get a lump in my throat, my heart starts racing, my spine tingles, and I smile from ear to ear. There's just this feeling that is so indescribable, so superior, so amazing that nobody can understand it unless you were there, unless you, too, share this same feeling. That amazing feeling you get when you sang O Canada, when you rewatch the videos, when you celebrate with fellow Canadians, when you hear the entire country screaming for joy .. <3

wow. this represents the feeling of how it was here and across canada so well. The author really did capture the essence of these olympics for us canadians not only as athletes but as a nation as a whole!

I lived in Vancouver for the last three years and I will never forget, not only those two weeks, but everything building up to the Olympics. My first days in Vancouver I took a pic of the mountain that Alex would win that first gold medal on. I saw the Olympic rings go out on the Burrard Inlet. I saw the flag put up in shop windows everywhere. I saw pride, celebration, the unity of Canadians. I tell ya, that was something special.

This was a very well put together video! From the speech, to the music selection, to the video clips. I very much enjoyed this video and the ending really makes me sad as I do miss the Olympics and what it gave to this city and vice versa. I had such a good time with friends, family and strangers!!

the olmpics are a postitive thing. and at first i was just mad at the cuts that had to happen in order to pay for them. this province , and country needed something to be proud of. it just sucks that the cuts had to happen.
