I'm an Indian and I have great hope that Imran Khan will be the answer to Pakistan and India's alliance in the future after listening to his speak to Indian media and also I believe he will be mature enough to lead Pakistan from it's Extremism into becoming a Modern Developed Nation.

@155an Of course, I never said I considered India as a Progressed Nation without extremism either. Extremism still exists in India in the form of Hindu Extremists that try every opportunity to take India away from Progress and trying to claim India only for Hindus, Which is not true.
Both India and Pakistan are Great Nations but with Corrupt leaders who do nothing to help with Water, Power shortage, Unemployment and Poverty. We both need good leaders that can transform them into Modern Nations.

@chakwalian Dear brother, I did not say that present rulers are good and Imran Khan is bad. I just wanted to say that if PTI is a true democratic party, it should present itself as a role model. If the members of a party cannot listen to criticism than it is not a good democratic party. No party can ever be perfect, but a party which cannot listen criticism can never improve itself. Imran Khan is a leader but he is no angel. Even he'll make mistakes, people like me will keep mentioning them.

corruption is not the major issue in most developing countries, but education. corruption is everywhere, even in the US or the UK etc.China is currently 100000 times more corrupt than Mao's period, but it is on the fastdeveloping truck. Same story is South Korea in the 1980th. how you educate your next generation is more important---especially to teach them how to be more effective and productive, how to spend every minute.

Unfortunately for Pakistan, a third dynasty is in the making. For Pakistan to prosper, the people has to stop worshiping personalities. Changes have to come from within themselves that take into consideration their religion and culture.
Mr Khan's talk reminded me in Benazir Bhutto when she fisrt appeared on the political scene.

He is not a deep thinker and he keeps repeating himself but it has been a consistent message and with the awareness created through the Arab Spring, Pakistani's are beginning to think reform. i think he has the character to lead and he would make a solid prime Minister provided he surrounds himself with the right people. Corruption is like a cancer and someone needs to get on top of it before all of pakistan's wealth is stolen by these bandit politicians.
