@Uchiha3303 He uses anything Malmsteen uses. Most of his career he used Dimarzio HS-3(bridge), HS-4/YJM(mid and neck). Now he uses Seymour Duncan YJM Fury set.

don't get me wrong, they are two AWESOME EXTRAORDINARY guitarrists but syu has a BIG greate defect his little finger, it doesn't take too much time to see that he rarely uses it, although he plays DAMN GOOD!! so it's hard to decide

syu's soloing isn't just t one thing that's better, but also syu's rhythm play style is very, i don't know.. unique... often the rhythm is just some power chord chained together, like takayoshi does here. compared to syu's rhtythm play, he makes it more fluently and gives some fresh variety in it. it feels alive! syu is the best

One thing I don't really like about Japanese guitarism is that, the playing style is almost the same everywhere......I mean, they copy too much from Akira Takasaki.
