  • @comemelinhos Thanks...

  • I am bending one of these right now. do you mind sharing what you did? i really don't want to risk poking around too much and blowing it. could you at least tell me where the pitch bend is located?

  • @ThePollyRhythmz I really just took a door bell wire and connect different points on the circuit board until I found something interesting to me. This is a little risky for the circuit board, but fun. I bought this one for $5.99 and figured it was a good candidate for this sort of shenanigans. The Yamaha gear from this time seems to be fairly durable and harder to wreck. I've done a few 70's/80's Yamaha and I haven't blown one up yet. I've got some picture of the process if your interested.

  • @ThePollyRhythmz yeah i would love some pics! :)

  • i still have to learn circuit bending... i have a busted keyboard

  • Yes! It works really well with the overdrive bend. The drums sound like over-driven Nintendo drums and melodies played on the keyboard have a Jimi Hendrix like quality when you play with the feedback coming out of the speaker with your hand.

  • Did you try the secret controls?

If you turn the keyboard off and then hold down the 2 white keys on the far right

you will get some lo fi drums on the buttons that selects sounds....
