This is one of my favorite interview sessions (if that is what you call it)
What I really think is funny is the woman who shunned Jon in 1986 -- I can't imagine what her purpose was in telling that but she sure did let us know what her true colors were by saying "I did not know who you were." Sounds materialistic to me, as if who he was should matter -- what mattered was the "what type of individual he was" to Dorothea and those around him
She said. "You haven't played it yet". She meant he hadn't written the song that he's going to be most remembered for yet. Jon thought she meant he didn't play Livin on a Prayer yet. I thought that was hilarious. She also got up earlier and was one of the ones who asked a question too.
thanks, I envy you -- I have been a fan of the band since the intro of Runaway as I too lived on the East Coast and I have never yet been to a concert (always some'm happening and I am out of town) Now I have been laid off for 8 months and they are coming to Phoenix and I can't afford a good ticket, so I enjoy YouTube instead. thanks for sharing this with me and others
That is soo funny...our happy place.....this whole interview is sooo funny....this is just priceless..he has never done anything like this.....just loving this sooo much!!!!
Oh, I want to thank you so much for posting this..I have been ROFL...especially at the part when the girl tells Jon that she is sorry because she blew him off at the Stone Pony in 1986!!!
