As a research machinist, I've used the drill doctor and yes it sharpens your drills but I just don't like the way its made.
Practically all plastic. Even the name of this device reflects its quality. If manufactures could make things out of crap, they would.
Anyway, after using it for a month I returned it for a refund. For the home repair guy this machine is fine but you will never see it in my shop.
